The Man From Hell

Once I walked along a way
That led me down to Hell’s fiery gate

A hundred men with me did walk
Along that road that was quite broad

Screams and cries did we hear
As Satan’s troops approached us near

My God, my God!, we did cry
As the chains around us were tightly tied

Into the fire we were thrown
There was no hope our lives were gone

I come to you now, from Hell’s fiery dome
To warn you not to take that road

It’s broad, it’s wide, it’s layered in gold
But inside you’ll die a million fold

Trust in Christ now
