At last
the worst yet to happen
spilling blood drops
all across the way
to mess up with dreams...
set forth towards an agenda

lips stretched to a horrific grin
broken pieces of teeth strewn

wavy hair messed up
dripped in nauseating flavour
of painful farewell from life
yonder years look ahead
to predict a life of memories
stressful till you tell adieu!

Seconds evolve into days...

Maddening crowd rushes through

not even a single heart

to think about you....

You have left an empty space

in the hearts of your loved ones

for they cry even in their sleep...

Every day when I stare at railtracks

I couldn't avoid that thought....

Stretching concrete platform

that feels the stamping vibration

echoes to me your last wish

before breathing your last

what thought would you have

nurtured in your brain -

will someday come again

and share your pain....

Karma defined...

Long before I wipe away

the tears stained face

seconds lapsed to disgrace

blinking hard again and again

at missing streaks of light

my vision stammer through darkness

that slowly engulfs the lost mind

it is not that your sweet smile

failed to grace shrivelled life

and maddened unseen grey cells

that lacked piety to love

and see you dead and gone forever...
