1. The Purpose of Life

The purpose of life is
to enjoy every moment.
And all my better days
are the ones
spent with you.
And because life goes on
in a blink of an eye,
I learn to appreciate the moments.
Although I may never give
the same amount of love
that I get;
I hope I give the same amount of love
that makes you smile.
Because you are My Purpose.

2. When We Meet People

There will always be a reason you meet people.
Either you need them to ignite a change in your life;
Or you are the one that will change theirs.
Because some one said:
"Dream as if you will live forever;
And live as if you will die today."
Although sometimes some one does not stay forever,
And no matter if that fact may hurt...
You will always have a place for them in your heart,
Along with everything they taught you.

3. Teach My Heart To Love

You have no idea
How important you are to me
And I have no idea how to explain it
As if my heart is made with glass,
You handle it with caution
It beats and bleeds
It breaks and aches
It loves and hates
But you take the better half
My heart opens to accept you
Teach me to love without condition
Patient and kind
Not jealous, boastful, or rude
Just, forgiving, and righteous
See the good in bad
The strength in weakness
The joy in sadness
And teach me to do the same

4. Dear no. 1 GOD

Dear God,
You are not number 1,
You are the only One.
You formed me in my mother's womb.
You cared for me thus far.
And although my future in unknown;
You have plans for my good.
Although my heart may stray;
You plan my steps.
Righteousness, Virtuous, and Holy;
You demand and make possible.
In my weakness, I say:
"God is strong; so, so am I!"
And although things seem impossible;
I serve a God that can make anything possible.
So God, you are not only number 1;
You are THE One we need.
