Lost in a bid to win

I succumb slowly

to your whims and fancies!!

who promised days of peace...

Broken promises add to days

that only stain my cheeks

with salty trails of tears...

 

Burning nights with unslept dreams

I toss around crevices of bedsheets

to get lost into deep sleep!!

Pains rule my night and day

that existed hidden forever!!

that brimmed with pure love?
Chastised by stinging words
that hurt and hurt and hurt..

Till my soul leaves
for that heavenly abode...

Love blisters...

Sore at disappointed heart
my love erupts fully
showing blisters on skin

Emanating heat spreads slowly
starting from head to toes
evolving rashes all way through

Provoked emotions swing my moods
and make me blabber non-sense
Drunk in miseries galore
my legs swather in assaulted steps

No one to stop me through
My fears push me ahead
to talk and unlearn pain -

Living so far with less gain
blurred eyes blink at a trail
that would take me through
moments of glorious past
lived and lost amidst much cheer!!
