This is a little story
About a girl named Glory
She lived on the far edge of town
Where you couldn’t hear a sound
She help her mom cook
She helped her mom clean
She was always nice
Never tried to be mean
Her life was so simple
Nothing new or exciting
Until a man comes in
With teeth that are so shiny
She never met a man with such a beautiful face
For the man was too beautiful for such a boring place!
But he didn’t mind
He didn’t care
He was just looking for a woman with the shiniest hair
For he had a dream
That he would walk by a stream
And find a woman with bright green eyes
With the shiniest hair, that makes the sun cry
In this small little town, he would find his beauty
For he can call her “his baby” or even “his cutie”
Therefore, he went around looking for this girl
The girl that would definitely rock his world
However, what he didn’t know was that a girl named Glory
Would come in this story
And She Would be his beauty
The girl he can call “baby” even “his cutie”
But he sure didn’t know
There is no way he would
He would just have to be looking like a seeker should
But after hours later, he got tired of looking
So he fell asleep by the stream, looking tired and pouting
While he was soundly sleeping, Glory came along
Washing her clothes and singing a song
A song so beautiful he could hear it while sleeping
Then the wind came along his face, like a broom that was sweeping
He woke up to find glory just sitting there
With bright green eyes and the shiniest hair
He blinked his eyes once he blinked it twice
She sure did look pretty he thought
So sweet and nice
She asked him where he came from
She didn’t see him sitting there
She thought he just came out of the thin air
He told her he was sleeping because he was tired
And plus it was dark, seems like time has expired
She giggled a little looking a little girl
And right where he was he she was is world
He then got on his knees and asked, “Would you marry me”
She looked at him bewildered for this was truly scary!
He told her “don’t be afraid I truly love you.”
She stared at him incredulously and said, “I don’t even know you!”
He then told her, “You don’t need to know me to love me baby
You know now and I bet you think I’m crazy!
But I had a dream
That I would walk by a stream
And find a woman with bright green eyes
With the shiniest hair, that makes the sun cry
A woman with such great beauty
A woman I can call her “my baby” or even “my cutie”
Therefore, I went around looking for this girl
The girl that would definitely rock my world
now here you are, my sun and my rain!
and I want you now, forever till the end!
So please take my hand
Let me be your man
Let me be the one to hold you
The one that always adore you.”
He looked in her eyes with such a pleading stare
She wondered in her mind is this a dare
But she looked at him again to find that he was serious
She smiled to herself think this man is so curious!
She then cleared her throat and began to speak
Puffed her chest out to make herself look bold, not weak
She said, “you sir are very bold to come and ask me a question of such sort
To come up to me and ask to marry like you are signing up for a sport
Nevertheless, I really do like you because of that
Because I’m very nice unlike most girls who would’ve already snapped
Because you don’t just go out and ask someone like that!
So back to the topic, would I marry you?
That really is funny considering the fact that I don’t know you
But my heart tells me yes, my mind tells me no
I am just so confused; I don’t know which one should follow
So I will follow my heart for I think it is right
And I will marry you today, not tomorrow, but tonight.”
When she was done, she batted her eyelashes so sweet and girly
No this story is done
This beautiful love story
But before I leave I wanted to tell you this
That Glory and the boy had a darn sweet kiss
And one morning he woke to find his beauty
He kissed her once and said, “oh my beautiful baby!
Everything you do just drives me crazy.”
She then kissed him and told him, “oh my handsome cutie!
You know how much I love you and I know you love me baby!’
Then they cuddled in each other’s arms and watched the sun rise
This is their love story; they are both in paradise
