Free verse # 1
The music in the back round blasting .Roll it up take a hit feelin’ light feelin’ light 2 am summer night The children listened to this and began to follow the song and thought it was ok They looked at their parents doing the same smoking around them doing drugs They asked themselves was it ok was this right was this they wanted to be in the future As they got older they thought how to get out of the hood? Naw they said and laughed And took a hit Could they of stopped and turned their life’s around? Maybe I don’t know no will ever Can you stop in such a situation like that While all their life’s they were taught it was alright But instead they choose to laugh now and cry later. To have fun and regret the consequences they thought that might not ever catch up with them Then BANG BANG out went out their lights and then they never woke up again could this of been stopped early maybe depends on your choices, And if u chose to live but hey no pressure


in this poem I used no rhyme scemes but used a steady flow and onomatopoeia .


Free verse # 2
I don’t mind standing here while you toy with every part of my mind Every string my heart has to pull you pull U tug and don’t let go You’re the person its hard to forget The person who hurt my heart and the one I wish inever met The one someone should never trust But idid iwas foolish enough to To belive that you of all people changed Naw I was just blinded with this thing people call love The one thing that brings pain and a hint a of pleasure Pssssh this is just another fake emotion we are always fallin for Hey some fall in it twice while already being in it Hey this thing we think we have can be so stupid passing notes to eachother Do u like me check here maybe check here no check here But hey its fun while it last some just feel pressure or is it just a lame excuses people use to Get made fun of but hey im no puppet and you can go pulling my strings. And just for my friend and yah this maybe a serious poem but rwargh yah that’s dinosaur for ilove you And its spelled R W A R G H. the g and h is silent.


Sonnet
As my heart beats for your love I am in pain Your love is simply unbearably Hard to control it really drives me insane I know it sounds terribly

Horrible i am uncontrollable My heart is even unstable But now my heart is as solid as a wood table It goes on without you like a show on cable

Your love is as sweet as maple This love may be a very long fable You hurt as much as me being stuck with a staple But don’t put anything like labels
On me just yet I have a very long story But hey my name isn’t tory
