Pero sa akin, init ng puso ang dumadaig sa..

Lungkot ang gumapos sa puso ng takot..
Patawad kasi torpe kaya di ko siya maabot..
Tila isang palaisipang di ko marinig ang sagot..
Siya lang ang sasalba sa hininga kong palagot..

Makalumang pagtula sa panahon na moderno..
Kahit isa akong gago na mukhang sirkero..
Parang nagdiwang ako ng pasko sa gitna ng disyerto..
Kung wala ang babaeng taglay ang pangalang Cordero.

Kalungkutan ang nagudyok sa akin upang magsulat..
Mga mata'y aking ipinipikit kahit matagal na akong mulat..
Ano mang sabihin ng isip, hindi pa rin ito sapat..
Subalit kapag puso ang nagdeklara, kinakalimutan ang lahat.

Sanay ako magisa't hindi inaalintana ang paligid..
Kinakausap ang sarili bilang manunuligsa na masugid..
Ni minsan sa sarili, ugnaya'y di napatid..
Nagapos ng kalungkutan at di makalagan ang lubid.

Wala parin siyang interes kahit ano ang aking gawin..
Kalunos-lunos sa pandama ang di ako pansinin..
Ito ang dahilan kung bakit walang silbi ang pag-amin..
Tatanggi lang naman siya at di magiging akin.
