One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.
On our website we can observe huge selection of electronic books for free. The registration in this electronic library isn’t required. Your e-library is always online with you. Reading ebooks on our website will help to be aware of bestsellers , without even leaving home.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

A Lesson I Learned

My mother said I must always be intolerant of ignorance but understanding of illiteracy. That some people, unable to go to school, were more educated and more intelligent than college professors.
- Maya Angelou

Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school.
- Albert Einstein

I'm not going to buy my kids an encyclopedia. Let them walk to school like I did.
- Yogi Berra

I've never let my school interfere with my education.
- Mark Twain

The chief reason for going to school is to get the impression fixed for life that there is a book side for everything.
- Robert Frost

A Lesson I Learned

Oh no ! It's Monday!

That awful day.

Time to go to school again.

Why , why should I go,

to that terrible place,

when there's nothing to gain?

So I decise to remain

in my cozy bed,

as long as I can.

But the rising sun's rays

lit up my room

like always to thwart my plan.

A Lesson I Learned

"Wake up! my son,

it's already eight-

the start of another new day.

You must get ready

to go to school

If not, what to your teacher will you say?"

I turn around in my bed

and pretend to close my eyes,

But the gushing wind through the open door-

to open my eyes , he tries.

I heave a sigh and get ready,

to go to that obnoxious place.

It makes my temper flare-

the foul mood shows on my face.

A Lesson I Learned

I start walking to the school,

as slowly as can be.

When to my surprise I find someone calling,

My! It's the cherry tree.

"Now, now dear sonny

Don't try to walk

at such a snaily pace,

and Pray, dear me !

A Lesson I Learned

What a pathetic expression !

Wipe out that gloom from your face."

A sudden wicked idea

- and a very wicked idea -

comes to my brainy head;

What if I,

don't go to school

and go to the playground instead !

As I take the route

to the playground.

I come across a little creek,

"Watch out, laddy !

You have taken the wrong path

- the school's along the other street."

A Lesson I Learned

I ignore them all

and reach the ground,

Yippee ! I have the whole place to me!

And then while swinging

on the swing I see,

Going from flower to flower, a humming happy bee.

Near the slide I discover

a crowded anthill.

Gathering food, they seemed happy,

as if working on their will.

How come these creatures seem happy,

in doing such a tedious task,

How, how do they enjoy doing it,

I would surely like to ask.

A Lesson I Learned

A passing bird heard me,

and answered me with kindness,

"It's because they know it's their job,

and they do so with happiness.

Whatever is our duty,

it must be done on time.

If we refrain from doing so,

then it is our biggest crime.

We know it is inevitable

and avoiding it would be our loss,

so why not do it with joy,

When we have to do it at any cost ?"

A Lesson I Learned

The little bird's words

taught me a lesson;

it showed my mistake to me.

Success in life,

comes only by doing

your task WITH HEART, you see !
