And Wait for You

I rejoice at the life before my eyes; I weep at the pain that comes in cries.
I laugh at the butterfly that tickles my nose; I shun at the sins that cause my woes.
I follow the path that leads to light; I pity the road that is full of spite.
I strive for integrity; I shy from jealousy.
I try my best to be like you, I do the best I can do.

A smile lightens my heart; only to came and take it apart
And a person say’s they love me; only to take it back.

But I never give up, I believe in the good, I pour a cup of tea, and wait for you.
