A Lost Friend

Her happiness vanishes and is destroyed...
She no longer knows the meaning of joy.
She tries so hard to hide her pain...
But she feels as though her love was all in vain.
A part of her died when that friend turned their back...
The will to live, she was beginning to lack.
No one understands how much it hurts...
When a friend is cruel and curt.
This pain eats away at her each day...
She feels as though she had no say.
A lost friend killed her a long time ago...
This pain is one no one can really know.

Heart broken

Heart broken,
Heart sad,
Heart hurt,
Heart gone...

Love shattered,
Love destroyed,
Love gone,
Love no more.

The pain of the heart

The pain of the heart is so strong...
It remains with one way too long.
Broken hearts shatter a world,
Toward grief, a life is hurled.
Not able to smile or laugh...
The love of life does not last.
THe hurt kills and shatters...
Nothing no longer matters.
No more happiness in my heart...
My whole life slowly falls apart.
I cannot stand this pain anymore...
Somedays I just want to hit the board.
