Yes…It’s possible

We spend too much time thinking about all that we do not have
We forget the time that we have to make a few changes
It’s never too late, or too early for a new beginning
It’s never too late or too early to dream a big dream
So often we speak things and hope that the spirit of those words
Would settle on the earth and sprout into the blooms of success

Can a blade of grass grow into a tree?
Can a pebble grow into a mountain range?
Can a tear drop grow into an ocean?
Can you answer this question and be 100% certain that you are correct or incorrect?

What if today was that day?
When to life things would quicken from words that you say?
What if a passing thought could spring into life?
Would you be ready for success…or possible strife?

Did Obama speak out one day that he would lead?
Did those words fall to the earth and plant like wild seed?
Did he know that he’d inherit a broken machine?
Did he know this but still decided to dream?

What about you and me?
What does this mean?

Do you have a dream?

Have you been encouraged or let down?
Have you fallen and now you’re comfortable on the ground?

Speak those things – marry your verb to your noun!
Speak those things! You aren’t the first or the last
to speak out those big dreams that may come to life fast.

Speak those things, have faith and you’ll see,
Yes it is possible to do the impossible with God…

When you set your mind free!
