One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.
On our website we can observe huge selection of electronic books for free. The registration in this electronic library isn’t required. Your e-library is always online with you. Reading ebooks on our website will help to be aware of bestsellers , without even leaving home.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

redefining
And all the candles are declining
But there’s an earth that keeps on turning
There will be candles that keep burning
No more harm and all for glory
And there’s a moral to my story

Tired

They wanted me to write lyrics to a song they made
So I sat down and wrote
I figured out a way to save the earth
With all her problems
I sorted out new ways for gaining peace
For all the people
I wrote all night and then I fell asleep

When I woke up, I took the pen and went on writing
I was thinking, cheerfully
I solved the problems of the cultures
In one minute
I was creative, building bridges
For all the nations
But when I was finished, they called me
And said
That now the song was gonna be
An instrumental

So I went home
Was tired
Went to bed

The fall

A high king’s throne
A precious stone
The thought I had was not my own
A child alone
Holds up the bone
Who’s deaf tonight, and what’s to moan?

Down on my hands and my knees, in my tears
Riot, they call
Riot, they call
They’re coming down through the clouds, no one hears
The bells ringing out for the fall

The friends you made
The chance you take
The vows you’re taking down to break
The smiles you fake
The hands you take
You’re down tonight on highest stake

Down on my hands and my knees, in my tears
Riot, they call
Riot, they call
They’re coming down through the clouds, no one hears
The bells ringing out for the fall

The weak ones crawl
Beyond the fall
You’re close to stepping down the wall
Face one for all
Rise up to fall
And what’s appalling stands up tall

Down on my hands and my knees, in my tears
Riot, they call
Riot, they call
They’re coming down through the clouds, no one hears
The bells ringing out for the fall
The windows wide open, lose the chain and the ball
The bells bleed my ears
Here we fall

Away

Stars abandoned
And the ascent came to an end
And as we cry and sigh, say why
Mankind should not bend

The sun will warm you
And from a distance you’ll be fine
Until you read inside the book
The world is in decline

The clouds will whisper
Until there’s nothing more to say
And Michael singing sadly
“Half a world away”

This sky will fool you
And when it turns from blue to grey
I’ll take comfort in his singing
Half a world
Away
