you had nothing to hide,
do you now?
Come now,
no one has left you alone,
I'm here to help you stand,
your ground,
you know I'll always,
be around.
Give me your hands,
no more looking down,
lift your eyes to look at me,
we'll get you back to where,
you belong,
with your head held high,
you'll soon again,
walk with pride.
So Much More;
To me what you think,
to be a simple smile,
it's so much more,
that smile makes my heart,
want to leap and bound out of my chest.
And that hug,
the ones you so carelessly give away,
it's so much more,
your touch makes my skin,
want to melt away,
it makes my heart race,
and my skin flush.
This....you,
are so much more than a crush,
you are are so much more,
then anything I've ever encountered,
So Much More.
You know your laugh?
I find the sound amazing,
it takes my breath away to see you,
so happy...
the only problem is,
you don't know,
just how far gone,
I truly am.
In anothers eyes;
I am strong,
I am beautiful,
In anothers eyes.
I have no fear,
and I am wise,
never have I encountered,
something I can't overcome,
in anothers eyes.
In anothers eyes,
I am strong enough,
to deny all the temptations,
thrown my way.
I am everything,
good enough for you...
yet in my eyes,
I have many flaws,
and I crumble at every blow,
I will never be good enough for you,
none of this is me....,
In anothers eyes.
Just Remember This;
When the stars fade,
from the sky,
you are not alone,
I'll be there,
with arms so strong,
to lift you up,
High, High High.
When the sun,
no longer holds any shine,
and the dark seeps in,
I will be there,
I will hold you.
Put your trust in me,
Faith and love,
your greatest assests.
For every sunrise and sunset,
just remember all,
of this,
I will be there,
no matter how far,
away you are.
Love Always Fails;
They say love,
can pull you through,
anything,
I don't beileve that true.
When you need it,
the most,
love always fails.
Causing so much,
destruction in it's wake.
Dying Inside;
She is silently screming,
cursing inside,
yet she finds herslef,
still reaching,
still grasping for you,
when fear settles in.
Little by little,
cip by chip,
she's fading away,
slowly,
Dying Inside.
Hold her close,
don't let her memory of you,
fade,
show her;
there was a reason,
she loved you in the first place,
that she is still loved,
her heart,
and yours..,
destinies intertwined.
Little Moments;
It's the smile on his face,
the feeling you know you caused it,
and the little moments,
that follows,
the shared eye contact,
as the smile grows.
It's the little moments,
that matter the most,
a hand brushing another,
and the spark passing between.
It's the feeling of an enbrace,
so sincere,
so sweet,
if even only for a moment,
yet it still steals your breath away,
makes you want to stay.
Heaven Bound;
Do not smite me before,
I've been given,
the chance,
to rise;
Do not cast me to,
the pits of Hell,
For I'm Heave Bound.
Difficult;
Canyou understand,
the lengths and the depths,
in my words.
Can you understand the riddles,
and find the answers,
in everything I do and say?
No matter how difficult,
it can be to understand,
am I worth it;
am I worth the constant struggle?
Before you go,
and turn away,
remember all the promises,
you and I made.
Inspiration;
You can be,
my inspiration,
you can be,
my muse.
Given the chance,
I'd like to show you,
just how much you inspire,
each and all of my writings;
more or less.
You are the very thought,
the very love,
the resides in each word.
I'll write you down,
and express my heart,
but never to your face,
could I ever tell.
But regardless,
you are my Inspiration,
my muse.
Overrated;
Love is blind,
Love is selfish,
Love is stupid,
Love is overrated.
A heart like yours,
and a heart like mine,
so in tune,
yet so out of whack.
You say one thing,
yet mean another.
Love is crazy,
Love is a stuggle,
a continous fight,
Love is worth it,
Heartache is so Overrrated.
Truth;
My words may be rusty,
and my heart cob-webbed,
but everything I said,
I meant.
The pounding of my heart,
and my sweaty palms,
onle a constant reminder,
of how nervous,
you make me.
My flushed cheeks,
and sparkling eyes,
signs,
if only more truth,
when I say,
how tongue tied,
the very thought of you,
makes me.
These are my Truths,
whether you believe,
them or not.
To surpress a love of any kind,
is like trying to hold back the wind,
Impossible,
if you could see,
what my life has become,
when you're next to me,
a constant fight,
a constant struggle,
that continues to manage to,
rip me apart.
I grew up with the belief,
that;
no matter how hard something is,
if it doesn't feel right,
let it go,
even if it breaks your heart.
I've been wrong,
time and time before,
this time wasn't one of them,
I wasn't worng about this,
I wasn't wrong about;
Loving you.
If you can let another do this,
if you can let them steal your love,
then the love before,
the next was,
impure.
We can continue to ask ourselves,
how do we find,
how do we make,
a pure love?
A love that will last,
through thick and thin,
a love that will last forever,
well maybe not forever,
nothing lasts that long,
but a love that will last,
till the very end.
Maybe love has lost it's magic,
or maybe we've just lost love,
whichever it is,
I hope in the light,
of all the pain,
you can find hope,
and in darkness,
you can find the light,
that burns brighter,
then love itself.
Though your body may be,
bound by chanis,
and you spirit;
broken,
Your mind may still work,
against you,
Do keep in mind:
Your heart is still free,
Have the courage to follow it.
Let the words leave your lips,
let the truth be heard,
let your eyes show;
all the emotions that cant be,
put into words.
Let you smile,
captivate my heart forever more,
let the guidance of all those,
before us,
lead our love,
down the right path.
I've been lots of places,
I've seen lots of faces,
but none of them are like home.
Home ain't where you live,
but where your mind goes when you close you eyes.
From the fields of Oklahoma to the plains of Tennessee,
From the old airy mountains of South Dakota,
To Flordia that borderlines the sea.
Home to me is a little town,
where everybody knows you,
and you know them.
Where friends are there when you call,
and don't stop to ask "Why should I?"
On the outside I may seem,
just another city slicker,
but I'm a country girl true and through.
Now I know this city air must be messing with my head,
did I hear someone say;
"Country's Dead"?
Well you can keep you fancy cars,
and your high heeled shoes,
I'll take a muddy pick-up and a paie a' boots.
I could't care what you thought of my voice,
and the way I sound when I talk,
I've earned this southern draw,
and a heart of country,
that beats even enough for you.
