Hi, I'm Skylar. No I am not a boy, yeah that is right, I’m a girl. I have a boys name. My parents thought I could be different. So they made my name a guys even before they knew my gender. My mother said that it was painful, even more so than other women, to be pregnant with me. It was because I am a hybrid. My dad is a vampire. My mother a werewolf. It’s easy for werewolves to become pregnant. They can change, while vampires are stuck like they were when they changed, they are stuck like that for life. My dad says I'm a disappointment, but my mom loves me dearly. I go to a normal school and live a normal life. A normal life away from home at least. When I am home I shift, and I run. Running is the only things that keeps me from going insane. My parents divorced when I was still young. They didn’t want me to be exposed to the vampire side of myself, but I still hunt and drink blood. I have to or I will starve. No one at my school knows about me, not even the other vampires and wolves. My scent is human because I am hybrid, but once I reach the age of 18 I stop growing. So I won’t be able to go to college because I will be stuck at the age of 18 forever. When you are a hybrid, you can’t die, so if there is an accident you are in. Well you can’t let anyone know you were there. Because when you get hurt it heals fast. I am like this emo girl everyone hates, well almost everyone. There is this guy who says I am his mate and he seemed surprised when I said that I already knew what he was. Anyways I have a story to tell, so I should probably get on with it.

My mom is sending me away, not like getting rid of me forever, but my dad wants to teach me the ways of a “vegetarian” vampire. He doesn’t want me to turn into my sister. First off, I didn’t even know I had a sister. Apparently before my dad changed someone he got her pregnant. So I have a sister who is running wild, deranged, because she wouldn’t listen to my dad. My mom says she is depraved, but my dad just says she is at a complex stage in her life. I just can’t believe my dad wants me back after about 16 years. I don’t want to go, I already know how to control myself, I can control myself more than my dad can control himself.
