"Alexis Mayfeather" Mrs.McGonagall said. i slowly walked up to the sorting hat and sat on the stool.
"hmm brave very brave but very smart. book smart and emotionally smart. hmm, RAVENCLAW" everyone from the Ravenclaw clapped and as i walked to the ravenclaw table some guys from Griffindor were wolf whistling at me. i rolled my eyes and sat down the farthest away from the sorting hat where no one was sitting hoping no one would try to sit by me. no such luck. almost every guy from ravenclaw came up to me and introduced himself, but luckily they never sat down. usualy because a jealous girlfriend. it want my fault every guy is atracted to me. ok... that sounded conceited i wasnt trying to be arogant or anything i was just stating the facts... ok, that sounded even more conceited. ok, lets start over.my mother is a veela so im 1/2 veela and all guys fall for me and it gets so anoying because i get all these girls threatining to kill me if i try to "steal" there man. gosh its not my fault my moms a full veela and trust me my mom's no walk in the park. my dad still has marks on his back from when he forgot her birthday... 5 years ago. but i love her. she will protect me and my sister from any harm. oh i forgot to mention my sister. she graduated 3 years ago. in her 7th year was a perfect and head girl in ravenclaw. she is now a dragon trainer in china. like all sisters we fight alot but we love eachother. i barley see her though because she is so busy. i actualy had some guys ask if i was her sister. one said and i quote "i remember sophie she was my date to the yule ball." i never got his name because this girl grabed him by the robe and dragged him back to his seat. i wasnt paying attention to the other people being sorted so i grabbed my lyrics book and started writing. "i look in your eyes as i start to swoon, mabey next time ill start to choose, the one that will always have my heart, and hopefully then we'll never part." lame lyrics right? ive been having writers block for over a month. the lyrics just didnt seem right, like it didnt fit me. i sighed as i wrote "fail" across the page. finally after 3 more fails i just closed the book and looked up at the moon. i was always facinated by the moon and would beg my parents to buy me a calender that would tell me the phases of the moon for 10 years. so far its been 3 years since i had it. as i was looking up i felt like someone was watching me. i looked down and right across from me at the gryffindor table was this boy that looked about the same age and had sandy colored hair and scars all over his face was starring at me. i waved to him and i think he just realized he was starring at me because he looked shocked and looked down blushing. sudently a girl walked up to me and started screaming at me
"i know what you are, your a veela" everyone was staring at me. i looked down and blushed but realized something. this chick was just trying to get under my skin and i was not goung to let that happen.
"yeah, im a veela got a problem with that" i snapped. she looked shocked at my outburst probably thinking i couldnt fight back. she just stared at me for the longest time and the whole room was silent.
"well is there a problem with me being a veela"
"n-n-no" she stuttered.
"well run aling then" i said iritaded from her presence. she walked away but before she was out of eatshot she screamed "if you flirt with my man again i will take you down." this made me pissed, well even more since it was that time of the month. i got up and grabbed her arm and said,
"first off i dont even know who you boyfriend is and second, if he liked you enough he wouldnt go flirting with other girls."
she looked pissed but not as pissed as me so she went back to her seat without a word. proud of myself i sat back down and began eating dessert.

i dont really remember what happened after the fight with that girl. i think i went into a food coma or something because when i woke up i dont remember anything like how i got here and when did i fall asleep. instead of worringabout it i juped out of bed and got ready for the first day of classes.
