An Early Morning Break. by Marnie Horton (reading diary txt) 📖

I'm going to tell you a story from a couple of months ago, I decided to take a walk or so I thought, I headed down the old canal behind my apartment 'clip, clip' i hear foot step behind me there getting faster as some races past me, I made a small yelp only to find that there was a dark man with a long coat and a hat strolling past me 'good morning' I say, I was ignored but the man suddenly broke out into a run. I slip down the alley way and head up too my apartment to find the door had been jimmied open I took off my coat and edge my way through the door. A shadowed man stood in the corner of my apartment "hello Marie,long time no see,eh?" "Rich? thought you had moved to a brighter side of town" "bussiness" he got up headed towards the cupboard poored him self a drink and and sat back down.
