i was in a forest. i looked around confused not knowing where to go or what to do. i started walking and i got to a house, i could smell smoke. i went into the house and thats when i saw him. he was beautiful even though i could only see the back of him. thats was the first time and since then they have always been the same. the visions happened at such random times. i learned to somewhat control them.
“Ms. Taylor. Are you ready to join the class now?” my teacher Mr. Henderson said to me, positioning himself in front of my desk. I looked up at him and smile and say “of course, what was the question again?” People snickered behind me because they know that this is Mr. Henderson’s least favorite question and students rarely get away with asking it. So it surprised me when he said to me “please try to pay attention Allison, this will be on your final” and went back up to his white board and started to write out the question and explaining the answer to us. My best friend Natalie leaned over to me and said “god what were you dreaming about? I thought for sure that you were going to get sent out.” I say “I know me too but I can’t get into any more trouble this year I mean my dad is already on the edge.” She flashed me her killer smile and said “so have you seen the new guy? I mean he is so hot!!!” I smile at her just as the bell rings and all the students scramble to get out of the boring history classroom or rather the boring history teacher. I was headed out of the classroom just as Mr. Henderson said “Allison please stay here” I looked at Natalie and I shrugged and headed over to his desk and said “yes” he looked up at me from his paper with disappointed eyes. He had known me for years and was a close friend of my grandfathers. “You should be paying attention in class I can’t keep giving you this special treatment.” He stood up “you are better than this grade that you portray what is wrong with you I mean you won’t go to college with grades like this and so get them up and stop daydreaming in class.” I looked down and said “yeah I get it” and I left without another word said. My boyfriend Ashton was waiting for me at the door and I smiled at him as I saw him. I gave him a hug and he said “what did he want to talk to you about?” “I say I have a C and I need to get it up. You know the usual.” I looked at him and smiled. “Let’s get to lunch.” I led him to the lunch room and got a Caesar salad and sat down. I smiled and looked at all of my friends and murmured under my breath about how I used to be the school outcast and now I am the most popular girl in school. My life was perfect. I had the perfect house, the perfect family, and the perfect cloths. I hung out with the people that everybody wanted to hang out with. I had the boyfriend that every girl wanted and all the guys wanted to be. i knew that i had to put on a facade now that i knew that i was different and i would be treated differently.
i knew i could never talk to anyone about the dreams but my mom and brother. i know that the dreams are some kind of sign of what i have to do in my life. i guess being an angel had its perks. i had better hearing and vision than regular people and i was more physically fit and could do much more things but i am still a normal girl. my mom tells me that i need to look for little clues as to where the visions could be. my brother on the other hand who has already has completed his purpose two years earlier says that it will come to me and i dont have to go looking. i honestly didnt know what to do anymore. all i knew is that my life would now change forever and there was no going back now.
