Chapter 10
Janet
So far so good, I havenāt seen Jacob anywhere in school and no one has recognized me, plus itās already fourth period. Jonny got us to blend in well. In break time, he took us to the side of the school where no popular person will be, so the new Jacob wouldnāt be there. Even if I havenāt seen him I have heard people talking with him. He was the new Ricky at school and everyone wanted a piece of him. He and Judy were the new āitā couple and everyone knew it. I rolled my eyes as I hear the two girls, squealing about him. Why didnāt he wait for me? I wanted him to wait for him. This was the big test and he blew it! I sigh as I turn in the assignment for the class and walk out. I turn to look at the teacher and he didnāt even notice, he was so busy in his computer. I walk towards my locker since I knew I had some Cheetos in there and I was hungry. I was about to turn the corner but then I saw HIM. I panicked and I turned around the other way, hoping he didnāt saw me. I hurried towards the girlās restroom which was close. I peeked behind me and saw HIM walking towards me with a determined look on his face. I started sprinting towards the restroom and I heard him starting to run too. I opened the door and closed it behind me. Crap! Why did he follow me? Did he want to talk to me? Iām not ready for this. I need to calm down. I canāt handle it if he wants an explanation or he wants to end it properly because we didnāt end it properly before, actually I sort of just left. Ugh. Iāll just wait till heās gone. I mean he wonāt stay for long right?
Jacob
Iāve been looking for her the whole day and when I least expect it, Bam! Sheās right in front of me. Why did she run away? But more importantly, why did I follow her or chased her? When I saw her, I was so shocked, and I was even more shocked that she ran away. She couldnāt face me and tell me that it was over? I was pissed that she didnāt want to talk to me so I chased her. I demand her to talk to me. Damn it! She owes me an explanation or at least she should make a clean break with me so I can finally move on. What if she does want to move on? Can I take that? I stare at the restroom door, considering if I should go in. I sighed, crossed me y arms and leaned against the wall behind me. I could play the waiting game. I will not move until she comes out and I talk with her.
