To live forever is a wonderful gift
As well as the ultimate curse
For the price it demands,
The way in which you pay.

Survival for the fittest
Man eat man; dog beat dog
Kill or be killed
It’s either me or them.

And for a hundred years I have
Killed and not been killed
Eaten men.

But I cannot do that anymore
To simply survive the undead
Is no longer enough
I want to live through the ages
With my undead

For what is forever but a black hole
If I have to spend it without him.
