Chapter One:
Great Way To Start The Day.
Everything was amazing, first day back at school. Couldnât wait to see everyone again, It was
9:40am, I was sat in Maths, I liked maths; something I was actually good at. Me, Liam,
Chelsie and Holly sat at the back of the class, we was just a group of best friends. We all
knew each other so well. Half was through the lesson there was a knock on the door.
ââCan Holly Nadin come to the office pleaseââ a teacher interrupted.
Holly went off with her, and we didnât see her at all. Everyone was asking about her at break;
everyone tried to phone her but she didnât seem to answer. Dark as the day we all got
worried.
The rest of us skipped school to go try and find her, we knocked her door;
ââHOLLY! HOLLY!ââ I wanted to find her so desperately. I heard a slight whine coming
from the back garden. Iâve never seen her in such a state. She was crying, mascara running all
down her face. Scary marry sat right in front of me.
ââLeon, hug me, just hug meââ she started to cry again.
I grabbed hold of her and wouldnât let go, my keys in my hand...
ââGET THEM KEYS AWAY FROM ME, THEY KILLED MY MOTHER!ââ. Holly just
screamed at me, I didnât know what to do. It was hard for me as well you know. I got the
inkling that her Mum was dead. She wouldnât stop crying she ran to the front garden, shaking
her car keys around.
âTHESE KILLED MY MOTHER, THEYâLL KILL ME!ââ Holly screamed in tears and
jumped in front of the nearest car. It was driving 50mph down a small road. What an idiot?
ââLeon, Leon... Sheâll be okay, get in the ambulance with herââ. I remember this paramedic
saying.
I jumped in the ambulance and got drove to the hospital, everyone seemed to be crying.
Everyone. She was just laid there in a coma, silently shouting at me. Her facing speaking a
hundred words without a movement. I went into her room, it was empty.
ââHolly, I know you canât hear me, but youâre the only person I want in my life, youâve
always been here for me, and Iâve never shown my gratitude. Please stay alive, Iâll be lost
without youââ I burst out crying on her bed, I walked out the door and bumped into this girl.
ââWatch where youâre going!ââ I shouted in her face. She just looked at me and smiled as I
walked away. I got to the hospital desk and was told I had to stay here until my Mum could
come and pick me up. I headed back in her direction. She stopped me,
ââHeyââ she smiled ââare you okay?ââ
I replied ââDo I look okay to you? My best friends in a coma and your... your.ââ
Her face dropped as if she was thinking god damn, I actually felt sorry for her now, she could
be in here for worse and Iâm complaining.
ââIâm sorry I asked, it must be hardââ Demi replied.
I looked up and realized it was Demi Lovato. Normally I would have screamed and been like
oh my gosh, but something was different; she wasnât how I expected her. I just treated her
like a normal girl, not that sheâs not anyway. She seemed cool. Awesome in fact. We got
talking and time went by so fast. I didnât want her to think I was a freak, all she seemed to be
doing was smiling at me, an uncontrollable smile smacked across her beautiful face. We
swapped numbers and I finally went home. Holly was still on the back on my mind. I locked
my door and didnât see or speak to anyone apart from Demi for a whole two weeks. Finally
my uncle broke down my door. My Mum came and sat with me.
ââWhile youâve been upstairs the terrible has happened love, Holly got switched of life
support machine last night, sheâs in heaven no babeââ
I couldnât do anything but cry. I kicked them both out my room and phoned Demi up and
explained, she drove straight round to my house. She knocked on door. I opened to see
Demiâs beautiful little smile, my face lit up, my tears washed away and I invited her inside.
ââmy bedrooms upstairs 1st to the leftââ I walked up behind and her and she sat on my bed
waiting for me, I couldnât believe it, it actually just hit me- Demi Lovato is sat in my house,
on my bed. Smiling at me, me? Leon Barrlow.
ââAre you going to talk then? Or did I come round for the fun of itââ Demi smiled at me. I
went and sat on the bed with her, hugged her and just burst out crying. I talked about
everything that I had been told, she was nearly crying herself. We looked into each otherâs
eyes, and went to kiss but I stopped. It was too weird, but she looked upset that I stopped.
Chapter Two:
Jealousy Doesnât Win.
So it was a week since that happened, we havenât talked. Sheâs tried texting me, but I didnât
have the guts to answer. I was back as school by this time, everyone was so friendly, or just
giving me sympathy. Who knows? But this time in school, it was much better. I didnât have
P.E, nor did I get sent home. Demi came to visit, I heard every one run to the door screaming
Demi, I couldnât help but laugh, She looked so beautiful, I couldnât believe she actually
came, everyone was just following her as she walked towards me. Nobody really expected
this to happen and really took it as a shock. She stood up on a chair and faced the whole
school (Practically everyone was there: teachers, students, dinner ladies, everyone).
ââHey, well you guys probably know my friend Leon, well I know him a bit more than
probably you lot. Through this though time I was there for him, not because I felt sorry for
him, but because I was a friendââ she turned to look at me ââwell the truth is Leon; I donât
want to be your friend. I think I actually like you, I want to be so much more than a friend.ââ
My eyes dropped to the floor, I couldnât believe it. Demi Lovato Fancies Leon Barrlow. What
are the chances of that? She told me to text her when I got home from school and we could
hang out. She drove me to this cliff; we lay down with a pre-packed picnic and watched the
sunset.
ââAmazing how beautifulââ I started to talk.
ââThe sunset? Yeah itâs great babyââ
ââthat too, but I was talking about you!ââ
My life seemed complete after I said them few words, I couldnât believe that had come out of
my mouth, seriously. She rolled over and put her head on my chest, and I whispered in her
ear âI love youâ there I was, sat making out with Demi Lovato. Disney Superstar/singer-song
writer. It was a dream come true. For the next 4 month we constantly hung out, she wasnât
just a girlfriend anymore, she was a part of me, Iâd go to school and sheâd pick me up straight
after and weâd hang out somewhere special. She promised me that she isnât going on tour for
another year or two, so I can see her, but I guess I shouldnât believe what people say.
Chapter Three:
Broke Into Three.
We were talking for hours on Skype
ââBaby Iâm going on tour in summer, Iâm sorryâ she started to cry.
I couldnât believe it, she lied to me, she promised. I singed off my laptop and cried so much, I
was heartbroken. My organs shattered into millions of pieces inside my ribs. This couldnât
have been healthy. We didnât talk at all from that day. Days turned into weeks, Weeks turned
into Months. She had gone, sheâd moved on. Stories of her and Joe Jonas was all over the
news, I couldnât face it anymore. I had been invited to a party at Chelsieâs house, and thatâs
where I was going to go. I knew drinking to forget wasnât a good idea, but it was the best one
at that time. I knew I was never going to be myself a gain.
I got ready in the nicest clothes I could find and walked to Chelsieâs, it was raining so hard. I
looked like a right mess; at least you couldnât tell I had been crying. That night I got so
drunk, I made Lindsay Lohan look like a sober. I was nearly collapsed outside on Chelsieâs
garden when she came and helped me and took me to bed.
ââYouâre not going to rape me are you?ââ I slurred.
She just laughed and tucked me in bed and told me to go to sleep, Iâm drunk. In the morning I
felt some one sit on the bed, she was there stroking my hand. I opened my eyes to the biggest
hangover ever. I just closed my eyes and went back to sleep. She totally took my mind of
Demi, she felt like Demi to me actually.
We got talking and over months and months we started to date and moved in together, she
changed my life. I knew Demi was still happy with Joe. This one morning everything just felt
wrong. I couldnât do it. So I told Chelsie I was going out with the lads for a while and went to
sit where me and Demi use to go.
Chapter four:
Together Forever, Through Thick & Thin.
I felt this hand rub the side of my arm.
ââNever knew you still come hereââ The stranger asked very politely, like they knew me for
some reason, so I looked up and saw Demi there, she hadnât hardly changed a bit.
ââOh, hey, herd you and Joe are still together how is it?ââ I wondered.
She replied itâd been better so we got talking. I told her that the only reason I was with
Chelsie was because she reminded me of her, she was my own little Demi. She agreed that
she never wanted to be with Joe and I was the one for her. I went home and started packing;
ââwhat are you doing?ââ Chelsie screamed from the other side of the bed.
ââI donât love you anymore, I never did. Demi is the one for me... DEMI!ââ I didnât want to
let her get upset, Iâd rather her be angry. No matter what she was still a friend. I barged my
way down stairs hoping she wouldnât stop me.
ââDonât you dare go anywhereââ she grabbed out a knife from the kitchen and came running
after me. I just walked out the door and hopped in my car.
