It was one of those early cold mornings today when I just want to cuddle up in an armchair and drink some hot chocolate in an empty cosy room, but as always that fantasy of mine will always remain a fantasy. I silently crept up to the large chipped oak door not wanting to disturb the creepy quietness of the corridor. It was too much like him, him meaning my father. I could practically see him throught the door, reading through the old scrolls filled with just as old myths. I shook my head and braced myself to knock quickly and get over and done with this. I did not have anything to do later, but I wanted to ge out of this creepy feeling place. The knocks noise echoed through the corridor making me want to shrivel into the earth beneath me.

"Celeste, come in" I looked up to see my fathers figure looming above me. I nodded quickly and stumbled behind his graceful steps into the study.

I sat in the chair in front of him and took in the surroundings. The room was anything but bare. It was filled with antiques and rich tapestry's hung on the wall similar to the rest of the castle. The floor was covered by a velvet rug that my cold bare feet sunk into. I looked up anxiously when I heard him clear his throat.

"We will be having visitors today" His voice was soft like velvet but held authority, a demand for obedience.

"Yes" I replied willing for him to continue that I could escape into my quiet but welcoming room.

"Celeste, I want you to remain in your room for the rest of the day" I couldn't help feel slightly disappointed. I had planned to meet Mirielle today, it had been a while since I went to the village and escaped from the emptiness of the castle. I looked into his cold eyes that didn't betray the slightest of emotions, just like mine. Most of his features were similar to mine. He had long ebony black hair that waved slightly at its edges. His nose was the definition of perfection, one feature I was proud to share with him. His lips were thin, pursed and a light pink unlike mine which were dark red. His eyes were broad and were a dark grey colour void of emotions. My eyes were elegantly shaped and a shade of gold and maroon. One of my features that both my parents didn't have. Like my mother my hair was long and wavy, my hair was my pride. I had the same pale skin as my mother, but I longed for my fathers tanned skin.

"Yes father" I said breaking the intense silence. His eyes wearily looked over me, making me more anxious.

"You Celeste are the cue card of the royals" his calm voice tore through me making me feel even more confused. "A rebellion may start soon, and you will have to destroy it!" His voice wavered with anger, his eyes a pool of black and grey. I had seen this rare occurence once before too, when his powers went too wild and out of control. Fear was running through my veins, a shiver slipped up my spine as I tried to brace myself for the worst.

"Who would dare to start a rebellion
