BLOODY BETRAYAL

PROLOUGE

As she came towards the bed slowly, Edward Rodrigo smiles, naked underneath half of the bed sheets. She was half dressed as well, this isn’t the usual sex scene, there was to be no sex at all. Edward Rodrigo was to die this very night, his guards outside of his door this very minute while he dies painfully. Right under their noses. At least right now, the deed was to be done soon, Camilla was here for that.
Back to the subject at hand, the drug filed syringe tucked under her lower back and panties, hid and in easy reach. Camilla had just been in the bathroom for a couple of minutes for ‘freshening up’. She had actually filled the syringe with 250mg of heroin. For this to work quickly she’d need to inject the drug directly into his blood stream for him to not call upon his men before it was too late.
She made sure to wipe all of her fingerprints off and when entering the hotel he owned not to look in the direction of the cameras in the hotel. This was one of the keys in how he got away from the police and justice, it was about to become his weak point. Camilla had studied the blue prints and the blind spots of the place. This room was the place where Edward raped and murders his victims. This very room.
She wasn’t being germ phobic but to save her the trouble of erasing her track before hand, like a ghost in the police offices and cases. Never to be traced back, an invisible to the world, nobody except her family knew her real name; only a selected group of people knew her real name in The Academy. The police or anyone in the department of government could find her, a silent predator. The reason behind her code name was all there.
“Come here baby.”Edward says, waving her to come closer, he didn’t even disguise the signs of his sick other nature, the other side that almost everyone knew was a major drug dealer, especially in heroin. She noticed that his gun that she filled with blanks was sitting very blankly on the bedside table, cleaned of her prints of course. No crime in being safe, ha-ha that’s ironic. What they both do for a living was a flagrant violation of the law, heinous crimes.
She pulled her dyed brown hair into a bun before coming out of the bathroom so none of her hair would show up in the investigation and be pointed towards her. If they even had her on the system, like before Camilla Claude was nobody and everyone to the world. That included the government to not interfere with her assassin life. An exception is that they knew but they let allow her to do this, most of her clients were politicians or high leaders. Several other governments ask for her in particularly. But they had to go through certain procedures and lines to get a hold of her. The Academy held her up with that, forwarding calls on untraceable and untapped to her special phone. She was among thousands of assassins in the world.
She plastered a fake smile at that bastardly man. Camilla was hired to do away with him; the victim’s family paid a handsome fine to get rid of the rich, psycho, and rapist /murdering bastard. He personally paid the police to not say that they heard or saw anything when the investigations started. After all it was all located in the heart of Mexico, enough said.
But the victim’s family, the latest victim’s family the Rousakis, was rich as well in the political life and their anger wouldn’t stop until they saw his blood. This is where Camilla comes in; her prey was her target of paid choice. Never innocent, always being corrupt if needed to have an excuse; nothing less to have the deal accepted. This was one or two of Camilla’s moral codes when accepting the deal. Her clients were informed by the very beginning. She was no ordinary teenage hit woman, wasn’t a mindless killing machine like the new generations.
“Right away, darling.”She said in a fake drawl and batted her fake long eyelashes and sat on the bed closer to him. Discreetly positioning her body to where her syringe didn’t show. Edward smiled again, eyes wide and in glee, his hands clenching, reaching for her breasts; she faked noises until he finally shut off the lights. The room finally plunged into blackness.
It was silent for a while, until the noises of the city life of Mexico City filled the room, the honking of cars, night bugs chirping, some of the lights from the roads way below filtered into the blinds. The soon-to-be-dead-man didn’t know what was coming at him, but Camilla knew exactly what was to happen, death was only the beginning, and in his case, for Hell. Did she even believe in the afterlife? Would she go there too, if there was such a place?

Why won’t you die? And You! Leave Me Alone!

Okay, the attempted overdose suicide appearance wasn’t working very well; he was still struggling after ten minutes and still kicking, making too much noise. After taking her time to pack some drugs into his jacket and swiping the place every space with soap and water Camilla finally noticed Edward was still alive and breathing.
A full shot of crank was a straight shot to hell for where he was going, but somehow he’s still alive. It wasn’t her first time trying to OD someone, her second actually. The first time was sloppy by her standards but the job got done, sleeping pills instead of illegal drugs that can burn your brain to ash.
It was so fast for sleeping pills but why not now? Camilla walks over, in a total different outfit that she came in, syringe in hand again, filled with air this time, and promptly covered his face with a pillow as she injected the air into his throat. His struggles grew weaker and weaker by the minute under the pillow, she smiles.
“Have a good life in hell ‘darling’” After making for sure Edward was dead and tucked in did she begin her tedious job of renewing her appearance. Her basic steps were hair dye and brown contacts with dark sunglasses, but the sunglasses would be in day and dawn, not now. With two pairs of sharp scissors in gloved hands, after her hair was dyed a dark purple, she expertly slashed into her hair. A dead body in the other room, she has been used to this for five years, or the least since childhood. To shake the thoughts away from her she slashed through her hair on accident, making a dramatic cut into her bangs, a big indent, she sighs.
She stared deeply into her own reflection; she couldn’t help it, when she ever changed her identity she did this every time, scared to see what has become of herself. She could still see her grey and dark purple eyes behind the muddy brown contacts if she peered closely enough. Once a dark honey color wavy hair was now purple and looked like it had been attacked by the salons hair pile that got its hairy hands on scissors. Her skin a still golden glow from the Mexican sun from staying on this case for a couple of weeks, trying to get in the know of the Rodrigo Hotel, now she did. Too much to be exact.
Never will he rape another woman again, Camilla made sure of that. Back to her reflection, her lips looked more pouty than usual, been kissed thousands of times by crooks to get her knife on them, that was the price. Her phone vibrated, her hearing was trained extensively to hear these small things, and Camilla picked up the phone, a private number.
“Is it done?”
“Yes mam, I’m on my way out now. Does Rockies and Tyson in position for my signal?”Camilla says while opening one of the major windows, all the doors locked and the rest of the room was sealed.
“I will see you soon?”
“Yes Mam.” And then they hung up, without even saying goodbye.
“Check Panther.”
“Check Panther.”
Tyson and Rockies call in, in by her ear piece that was clear and unnoticeable to the naked eyes because it was really far in. She smiles with her emergency bag over her shoulders, tying her cable post through the wall just outside of the window post. She pushed the button that would drill into the bricks, pieces of crumbled bricks in to her face; she spat it out the window. Her back was facing the sky and the buildings adjacent to here. The humid breeze gently pushed her hair back and forth, she shivered at the sudden warmth, and inside of the hotel room was freezing.
Once the post was secure, Camilla tied the cable ropes into the loops tightly, and tugged to check if it was secure enough for her weight. Secure, she looked across the expanse of air to the building exactly opposite to the hotel.
She pulled out her red laser and flashed it twice in the direction of the ballroom building. Her evening dresses in her bag also, another disguise of hers. But right now she was wearing Academy uniform when on missions, the mask off, a leather and jumpsuit style, tight as skin and zipped all the way from the groin to the collar in one electric stripe. She waited for a green light to be shaded back to her, a few seconds later across on the roof of the ballroom a green light flashed three times.
“Roger, ready.”They say in unison on the channel, she nods, pulled the backpack on her back until last, when the hook was ready. The hotel level she was on was five stories, good enough and there was enough litter on the streets to not a get a straight fall from the drop if that happens.
“I’m sending the anchor now.”She pulled off the machine that she had planted before time and turned it on. It looked like a whale spear, but much smarter, the button glowed red as she powered it on. She was taking too much time than usual, he messed it all up by not dying quicker, partly her fault, she should have just slit his throat and left.
There was recoil from the shot but she had kept her stance still but her arms shook, making her shot go lower than it was supposed to.
“Damn, Rockies, Tyson meet me on the fourth story, west window, I missed.”She hoisted herself up with her metal handle hooked around the cable linked to the anchor. Double checking herself she pushed the windows down and had a small device that made windows sealed from the outside and the she jumped off.
The noise of the traffic still bothered her even staying in the city for a while, but she ignored it and continued to slide down the thick cable, she had already set the home anchor to self destruct and fall off after she pushed the button on her remote control in her pocket. The mobile one had gone broken the window and was only in place because of
