Chapter 1.

"Come on KC." I stand with one hand on hip, my back to everyone. This is actually kind of awkward me Bering in a room with boys smoking, in my sweats; while some girls were making out with them.

"Babe, let me just have one more joint.." He inhales again, with this stupid red head (no offence) on his lap.

"Imma drag you by your ear if you don't get up right now."
He really pisses me off.
He goes off to a party, drinks too much, gets high and expects me to pick him up. In the. In the early wee hours of the morning.

"Fiesty one." laughs one of the boys in the room, rolling another joint. I glare at him in disgust.
He passes it over to KC and he stares up at me. He's eyes are so intensifying even when he's high.

I glare back at him, But feel my anger slowly dying down at his touch.

"Sit down." He says trying to pull me down on the sofa.

"No Carmello, Im fucking pissed." I was mad again. I only call him that when im angry.
Everybody calls him King, but KC for short.

KC pushes the red head of his lap and dapped up the boys before leaving with me in front.
We walk through the house, at 2am everybody was completely wasted or making out on the floor.

We get outside to my mom's car. I borrowed it off her tonight.

"You ain't bring that shit in the car." Ma would kill me.

KC groans and mumbles something, but drops the joint and leaves it burning on the floor.

We both jump into the car, and drive back to my house. KC fell asleep in like 10 mins, and I listened to the early radio nodding along with the beat and tapping my hands on the sterring wheel.

I wake KC up and drag him into my house. Mom wasn't in, so I let him sleep on my bed. And I took the floor. The things I do for this boy.

I brush my teeth. Pull back my hair into a ponytail. I was thinking of getting locks. Maybe Lisa could help me? I take of my sweats and put on a long t-shirt (past my knees). I also put on my brothers old basketball shorts. He left some of his stuff when he moved in with that bitch.

***

(A/N NEW RULE. I WONT CARRY ON UNLESS IM SATISFIED WITH THE NUMBER OF COMMENTS)

I was laying on the floor, trying to get to sleep, when I heard KC's voice.

"Alyessa, are you awake?"

"No carmello. Now get to sleep,"

I hear some shuffling above me.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"I wanna sleep with you."

I sigh. "Go on then. But no talking." I'm tired.

KC slumps down next to me just in his boxers and holds me round the waist, silently falling asleep.

***
I open my eyes yawning. KC woke me up talking on the phone. I stretched and listened to his conversation.

"Yes babe. Ill be over there."
pause.
"I was busy, fucks sake."
Pause.
"Okay... in like 20mins."
drops.

"Who was that?" I ask.

"Alexis." I roll my eyes at that attention seeking bitch.

"So you just gonna go then?" I ask getting mad at him again.

"I cant help it I'm sorry." He says getting up at trying to find his pants.

"Carmello. You barely spend any time with me."

"I know
Ill make it io to you don't worry." He brushes my cheek gently picking his phone and keys and walking to the door. I follow behind him with sleep in my eyes, hair everywhere. I look rough when I just wake up. But typically KC looks normally fine as hell. With his voice all husky and deep.

"Talk later love." He says and turns round and pecks me on the lips.

I stand there looking stunned. But shut my mouth and mumble my bye's.
what the hell was that. Me and KC have been friends since I was on middle school. He is now 18, me sixteen and he has never kissed me on the lips before. Did this mean he liked me?

I couldn't handle all the thoughts streaming across my brain. I decide to pick up my phone and call him.

"Alyessa?" Answers KC.
There was shuflfing Ianthe background.

"Yeah. Kc. I was just wondering.." I pause thinking if this is a good idea.
But decide to continue.

"KC. Why did you kiss me?" I bite my lip.

Silence.

He laughs suddenly.

"What?" I mumble.

"B, people do it all the time."

I think for a minute. He continues.

"It don't mean anything."
