Chapter 1: Lillian
Chad, lean and tall, woke up on a foggy Saturday morning. Chad Skyler was his name and he was well, awesome. Outgoing, funny, weird, 16, tall, white as a wall, muscular, black hair that fell over his intense green eyes, awkard. I could go all day. Anyway, he woke up on a foggy and cold Saturday morning. For Chad, this was just a horrible way to start his weekend.
Chad's best friend, Nicholas Falcon, strolled in. He was exactly like Chad, except with a black mohawk and red tips and he had blue eyes. Nicky had moved in with Chad because his family was nowhere to be found.
"Lillian and Kayla called. They'll be stopping over in 'round an hour, kid. Gear up." said Nicky, eyeing the messy Chad.
Chad's heart fluttered when he heard my name. (Lillian) He dressed in some really nice casual wear. Nicky dressed normal. Because, hey, it was only his adoptive baby sis (me) and Kayla. Why dress all nice? He laughed seeing Chad.
"Of course..." he sneered just as Kayla and I strolled in.
I had Chad's personality + some danger, fiestyness, and sweetness mixed in. I was medium height, average weight, long brown hair, hazel eyes, and gorgeus feet. I was also 12. Kayla was Nicky + Me, a bit chubby, short black hair, and blue eyes. She was 15.
Chad flushed and I saw his outfit. "Uh..." he said and I giggled. I hugged him and he smiled.
Kayla and Nicky laughed and I smirked. Turning around, I smiled now excited.
"So what is the Cali plan?" I asked eagerly.
Smiles broke out on my friends faces and eagerness flooded my heart. "Well..." began Kayla. "I think it's time to go. I got the tickets. We leave in 3 hours. Let's pack!"
It was a mad rush or the next hour to pack, but finally we were done. It took an hour to get to the airport and we waited in our terminal impatiently. Half an hour before we boarded, hunger ate up our bellies. Two of us (Chad and I) stayed behind with cell phones while Kayla and Nicky went for some McDonald's.
Fifteen minutes before boarding, they walked in with food and we all ate, went to the restroom, and got ully prepared for flight. Electronics turned off, coats in bags, fully packed, we boarded. The trip to Califronia from Ohio took around 5 hours. It was a bit late when we arrived, so we got settled in. This was a two week trip after all.
"Who's showering first?" Kayla asked.
We rolled dice and Chad got showered first. We each had a seperate section of the room and a seperate bathroom. I'll admit it, the place was huge. I found my section and was awed. Green walls, black covers, a TV, perfect bathroom, and a lovely dresser. My smile was huge.
I unpacked my things and organized the room perfectly. Everyone got showered and went to sleep in their comfortably warm areas. To me it was perfection.
The next night, Nicky and Kayla saw a movie while Chad and I went mini-golfing. It was so fun! Chad and I finished with laugh's and flushing. I sucked. I had 200 points while Chad had 31. We went to the hotel and we were their first. I was glad. We were best friend's having an awesome time.
I sat on Chad's bed and swung my feet on the side.
"Hey, uh, Lil can I tell you somehting?" Chad asked. I nodded. "Okay...well...Lillian I love you. I want to be more than friends." he stuttered.
My mouth dropped open and my leg's stopped their carefree swinging. I stood up and walked to the rec room to figure things out. Chad was at my heels.
"Lily..." he said in a pleading tone.
I couldn't speak, I couldn't move, I could barely breath. Chad looked at me with his fierce green eyes and I saw determination glinting in them. A flash of tought ran through his intense gaze. Chad pushed me up against the wall and kissed me. I was about to push him away, and sensing that, he deepened the kiss.
It was to nice to want to move. I was happy with this carefree intimacy. Kayla would have preferred sex immediately - this ends a lot of promising relationships - and I knew she and Nicky would be at it soon, much to my displeasure. Not that I harbored feelings for Nicky, no, we were done with that, but my bro? My thoughts ran to an end as I was sucked into the softness of Chad's perfect lips.
The door opened suddennly, and I pulled away (it was hard since I was against the wall, but I managed) only to see Kayla and Nicky, mouths gaped, eyes wide, staring at us. My cheeks flushed and I realised my arm's were around Chad. I unwrapped myself and turned a deep red. Chad turned around and rubbed his arm awkwardly. Kayla laughed followed by Nicky. I was infuriated.
"Oh Lil...I knew this would happen. Just like..." Kayla shot a glance at Nicky and my anger pulsed through me like never before.
"Shut up little miss drama Queen." I said, (I was being drama queen that day but usually, it's her) "My bro? Nicky? Really? And then you laugh at me. Both of you..." a tear fell down my cheek and I ran to my room.
I threw on a black long-sleeve with the same type leggings and then a short green summer dress. My white flats came then my hot pink purse and I ran out the door.
"What the hell...?" asked Chad after I had left. He looked at the two with wonder in his eyes.
"I...I..." Kayla began to cry. "I just want to kill myself! All this fucking drama..." she shouted.
Nicky's mouth dropped open. "Kayla...she's just upset. You know her...don't talk like that. Chad let's-" he stopped. Chad was already after me.
Chapter 2: Kayla
I watched Lillian go with surprise. Then the drama really began to roll in. Me with my suicidal thoughts, Nicky with his reasoning, Chad after my best friend. Vegas was supposed to be fun, right? I sighed seeing Chad was gone. Lillian was embarrassed about us walking in on the kissing, what the hell? When she get's back here I'm gonna yell at her like hell. I thought.
Nicky looked at me and read the anger in my eye's. "Kayla...she...I know her. Better than you do. So before you fucking yell at her and make her feel worse than she does, leave her alone. God damn..." he screamed, startling me.
"I...I..."
"Were gonna make things worse. Lillian is shy. Yelling will make her mad. Anger will make us all go home and have everything: friendship, love, mutuality, all disappear. If you want that yell. I don't think it's cool there. She is shy." he said, and stormed out after the three.
"What the fuck?" I yelled after him, tears coming to my eyes.
I got my diary and began to write:
LILY GOT MAD AT ME AND I DID NOTHING.
I couldn't write anymore. I needed release. In my bag was the knife. No dieing, I thought, just cutting. I engraved the words "Hate Life" into my arms and made a few slits. My releif flourished inside me and I fell asleep, bleeding. Before I went to sleep I took comfort in knowing Lillian would see the blood and be sick. That fucking drama causing bitch deserved it.
Chapter 3: Nicky
Kayla drove me mad when I realised she was going to yell at my little sis. Lillian could be anywhere in LA, California and she cared about was yelling? I stopped myself. Everything would be fine soon as soon as I found my little dark sunshine of a sister. (I say this lovingly) I saw Chad looking frantically and then saw Lillian on the bench just behind him. She had a smirk on her face and I laughed.
"What the hell, Nick? She's gone and you laugh!" He was in hysteric's and near tears.
"Turn around, McTardo." I said.
Chad turned and I could see his physical tension break. He ran and picked Lillian up, engorging her in the most loving hug I have ever seen. He carried her wedding style and I could see his mental tension had disappeared also. Lillian had a fit of giggles as he spun her around. I could see she just needed a moment to accept new things. A smile crossed my face as we all walked back to the hotel. Our room was like an apartment and I could tell everyone loved it.
We stopped for lunch and icecream, making sure to get Kayla something. Then, we walked to the place we would be calling home for a bit.
Chapter 4: Lillian (Sorry, but Chad will just have to wait)
I felt so much better after Nick and Chad had arrived. Kayla...I don't know. Just the sight of her made me so angry sometimes! After eating and gettung extra for Kayla, we made our back to the hotel that I was beginning to love. I unlocked the door and smelled...blood.
In a moment of bravery, I pushed the door open to see the bloody mess called Kayla. Tears came to my eyes and I gagged.
Kayla woke and saw me, a smile lacing her features. "Serves you right." she said.
Chad ran to me, Nicky to the corpse (I only say this because she was dead to me.)
