I looked up at the oversized clock on the wall. It said  5:30 I have another hour here. I let out a sigh.“How did your challenge go? Did you make any friends?” Dr. Richardson asked“I tried. I went to the coffee shop and was going to ask a girl from my school if I could sit next to her, but then her boyfriend and a couple of guys came over and I freaked out and left.”  I repliedWell I aleast you tried to talk to her. Okay are you ready for this weekends challenge” She asked“Yes, I am so excited I can’t stop jumping up and down in my seat.” I said drlyDr. Richardson ignored my snarky remark and smiled. “ Have a conversation with a stranger. Find you their name, get to know them and find out one intresting thing about them.”“Ok.” I grumbled and walked out of the room.  I wondered the same thing I always did why did she want me to go out and interact. I have one best friend who is always there for me when I need her, there is really no point in looking for more friends.Jessica has been my best friend since middle school.  I still remember that day. I was walking toward my locker with my head down. I ran right in to her. She had on a dress, big goofy glasses, a ton of books in her hand and her blonde her in pigtails.  We instantly became friends. She has been my best friend since then. I open the door of my sky blue Toyota Yaris my parents insisted on buying me. I make my way up to my dorm. I push the door open and toss my books on the bed before closing it. Jess comes storming out of the bathroom all dress up. She has on a hot pink dress that barely covers her bottom with matching high heels.“Cloe hurry up and get dress Jacob to a party!” she exclamiedI let out a sigh. Jess you know how I feel about parties, plus I dont have anything to wear.”“Awwww! Come on Cloe please please”  I might be able to do ?” Dr. Richardson stupid challenge over with and I won’t have to worry about it on the weekend. The parties here are always so wild and crazy. People are drinking, somking, or doing something crazy. I go to the University of University of Alabama.

I was sitting at the table with James, Eric, Brad, my best friend Ashton and my girlfriend Zoey.  The house is full of people. Girls and guys dancing, and some getting drunk. I didn’t think the party would be such a hit. 

“Jake Baby why is she here?” Zoe asked

“Why is who here babe?”

“That Clover girl?” 

I turn my head towards the direction she is pointing and that’s when I see her. She is with the girl Jessica that Brad has been crushing on since high school. Clover  was never really pretty in high school cute in a nerdy way but never really sexy or hot.  She was always picked on in high school. She got food thrown on her milk in her hair whatever the lunch was it was on her. She always got called names about how ugly she was and how scrawny. It was so funny back then now I feel bad about what we did to her. We ruined her high school years. Now  she was no longer the scrawny girl with no boobs or a butt. She is beautiful, and that blue dress she has on that fits her body perfectly. Her body has turned at amazing since high school. Get it together man you have a girlfriend!

“Jakey are you listening I asked why is she here?”

“I invited her babe”

“Why the heck would invite someone like her here, she is so creepy she does not fit in with us at all baby you need to tell her to leave”

“I can’t tell her to leave I invited her here asking her to leave is just plain rude”

“Fine. OMG she is coming over here ugh!”

            Everyone at the table is looking at me. They all hated the idea of me dating Zoe. They all said she is a real biotch.  I don’t blame them for think that,  sometimes she is.  We have been dating since we were juniors. We got in to the same university. She and I both got  scholarships to UM. I got my scholarship for football and she got hers for cheerleading. Zoe is the caption of the cheerleading team like she was in high school.  I play as the wide receiver. I got scholarships to a lot of other schools too but I choose this one because the football team is really amazing.

“Hey Jacob.”  Someone say

 I look up to see Clover and her friend Jessica standing next to the table.

“Oh Hey Jessica, Hey Clover what’s up?”

“Nothing Much We just wanted to say thanking for the invite to the party it is really great.”

“No Problem. Why don’t you have a seat.” I motion to the two empty chairs next to Brad. Zoe sends me a glare.

“Thank you” I notice that Clover has not said a word. Jessica is the one do all the talking. Zoe is glaring at Clover. I don’t know why she hates Clover so much. She has never even talk to the girl. Clover pays no attention to Zoe which only makes Zoe even madder.

“Is there a problem?” Jessica asks Zoe

“No why would you think there was a problem?” Zoey says in a innocent voice

“Because you won’t stop glaring at my friend. So if there is a problem I suggest you talk so we can settle this.”  All the color drains from Zoe’s face and she looks so damn sacred it is really funny.  She shakes her head and smiles.

“No No there is not problem I was looking at someone behind her so don’t worry” It was so obvious she was lying but no one said anything I don’t think any of us wanted drama. Summer is 2 days away and I have been thinking about ending things with Zoe but I am not really sure. We have been dating since we were 16 years old. I was young I didn’t know what I wanted in a women and I do now.  Zoe is not her but I am not sure if I should break things with Zoe after 3 years.
