âItâs for the good of the pack, he has some allies that will help us with the fight.â She told her and groaned as she arched her back against the wall.
âHave you ever slept on a wall? Lemme tell you, it ainât comfortable. Oh! I have another question for you. When exactly were you going to tell us?â Molly asked, opening both eyes and rubbing her back.
âTell you what?â Sarah asked, her tears finding someplace else to rest as she furrowed her brow.
âThat youâre-â She was cut off when the door slammed open and an angry bed tousled Thomas stood there, his eyes amber.
âHow many times have I told you, you are not to leave the bed while Iâm sleeping?â he growled, his canines elongating ever so slightly.
âAnd how many times have I told you that I will do whatever the hell I want, however the hell I want to do it, wherever I want to do it at, and whoever the hell I want to do it with?â she growled back, her wolf coming out. She could smell both of their arousal and it disturbed her that they got off on arguing.
âNot when youâre my mate you donât. now get your sweet little ass up and go into the room.â He said and she went silent. Actually they both went silent and focused on each other. She smiled cynically and got up.
âBreakfast is downstairs Sarah!â She yelled as she ran past Thomas. He growled and ripped himself from the door frame, chasing after his mate. Her stomach growled and Sarahâs mouth popped open. She couldnât be hungry! She should be disgusted at the thought of foo not salivating for some waffles! Would you hurry up and eat already, her wolf groaned, weâre starving!! She got up shakily and went to her room to throw clothes on. She didnât feel like being constricted so she just put on a pair of pajama shorts and a light camisole. It was probably freezing but she didnât care. She couldnât bare the thought of having to wear all those clothes. Something was seriously wrong with her.
After wolfing down about 15 waffles and 33 pieces of bacon she was sated. Molly and Thomas still hadnât come down, but the smell of sex was all around their room. Making it obvious of what she was doing. She sat in the living room, watching SpongeBob when someone flopped down next to her.
âHey Sammy, whatâs up?â Sarah asked, and looked at the small child. She was practically glowing with happiness. Her blond hair was pulled into a tight ponytail with some stray hairs placed here and there. She folded her hands and just smiled.
âOk, thatâs not creepy at all.â Sarah remarked and turned back to watch SpongeBob. SpongeBob was one of the greatest television shows that Sarah had ever watched. She giggled as he did something funny and felt Sammy laugh too, Sarah didnât feel a certain way. SpongeBob was created so that everyone could enjoy his crazy antics with Patrick Star, not just for little children. Her stomach growled again and she bit her lip. She wouldnât eat again until dinner and that was that.
âOk! I canât hold it in anymore!â Sammy suddenly bust out, making Sarah practically jump out of her skin.
âBut you have to pinky promise you wont tell anybody. Not mom, dad, not even Auntie Carol.â She whispered, her eyes shooting up the stairs.
âOk, I promise.â Sarah said, scared that the little child had done something terrible. She bit her lip then came closer to Sarah. She giggled lightly before whispering two little words. Two little words that made horror and anger spike in her chest.
âIâm pregnant.â
Sarahâs eyes widened and she shook her head, clearing the fog from her mind.
âIâm sorry, maybe I heard you wrong. Did you say you were pregnant?â She asked and Sammy nodded happily.
âSamantha! Youâre only, what, 9? Have you even had your period yet?â She whisper screamed and Sammyâs smile faltered a little bit.
âIâm 11, and yes I have had my period. Iâve gone through my heat, and now Iâm pregnant. Shouldnât you be happy for me? Iâm having a baby!â She whisper yelled back.
âYouâre not ready! Youâre still a child. Hell, Iâm 217 and Iâm not even ready!â Her voice was starting to raise a little bit but she didnât care.
âDoes Jake even know?â Sarah asked, feeling her body tense up at Sammyâs delayed reaction.
âDoes Jake even want kids?â Sarah asked, crossing her arms, SpongeBob being forgotten.
âHe said weâre too young to think about it, but that doesnât matter. I canât change anything. I love him and he loves me, our baby will be full of love and happiness.â She argued standing up, the happy mood gone.
âYou canât believe that youâre keeping this child! Please tell me youâre not that naĂŻve?â Sarah yelled, forgetting this conversation was supposed to be private.
âI am! My child is my child! Not some deranged human!â She shrieked, her little face going red.
âWhatâs going on down here?â Molly asked, but the two paid no attention they were still staring each other down.
âThat deranged human will take care of it the way it deserves to be taken care of!â Sarah reasoned. Sammy growled and got up in the couch, getting up in Sarahâs face.
âItâs my baby. Iâm keeping it, stay out of me and my mateâs business you crazed bitch.â She spat and pushed Sarah, making her shoulder give away.
âDonât push me little child. I am only looking out for you, youâre not ready for a child yet. You yourself are one.â Sarah said lowly and Molly gasped.
âIs everybody in this damn getting pregnant!?â Molly screeched but Sammy paid attention on only Sarah.
âDonât look out for me! I can look out for my own damn self!â when did she start cursing? Sarah couldnât remember.
âSammy?â Jake and Mark asked at the same time, then growled out each other.
âObviously you canât if youâre going around fucking at the age of 11! Honestly, what were you thinking?!â Sarah screeched and Sammy gasped. Right before she leapt onto Sarah and attacked her. Now this is where Sarah was caught at an end. She did not fight children, that is where she drew the line. Sheâd fight an old person, a person with disabilities, hell sheâd fight pregnant people. But kids is where she drew the line. It was kind of hard to distinguish where the line was when an 11 year old was handing your ass to you. Sammy scratched, punched, and clawed at Sarah, making her pretty pissed off.
âSomebody get her off me!!â Sarah screeched, she couldnât see past Sammyâs pearl pink shirt. A pearl pink shirt that sheâd now envisioned a nice thin trail of blood, which would emanate from Sammyâs nose, coming down the center. But then a thought came to her, thanks to her wolf. Sheâs pregnant, we fight pregnant people. Bingo. With a war cry Sarah kicked the small child in her stomach, not caring if she harmed the baby. Sammy flew across the room and into the TV, making a prominent dent in it.
âI donât fight children, but Iâll beat the hell out of a pregnant child.â She growled. They all looked at her in awe and fear. She snarled and clenched her fists.
âThe fuck are you looking at?â Sarah snapped and Molly stepped closer to her.
âYouâre glowing.â She whispered, then cowered back into Thomas. Theyâd all gathered around her, trying to pull Sammy off of her, in a small little circle and now she resented it. She looked down at her hands and gasped when she saw she was glowing a pale blue. Itâs time my child, a sweet soft voice said in her head, itâs time for your powers to come to the light.
âFucking shit! I hate it when she does that. I was having a good dream. Rissaâs on her way, weâve got to form a game plan. Warâs on the way.â Rosa said in her mind and Sarah rushed through the circular crowd and up the stairs and up the stairs into the nursery.
âWhat do you mean a warâs coming?â Sarah asked, walking to the crib and picking the chubby baby up. The green eyes that were condescending and sarcastic were now full of concern and rage.
âHunterâs, Vampire, Fey, Dragons, Ogreâs, and rogues. Thatâs what weâre fighting. Your mate, heâs smart. Tell him that, you might not get a chance to ever tell him again. the war is coming soon, weâve got no time to sit and mourn. Weâve got to fight, always fight. Remember that, I wonât remember this when I wake up. Remember the music. We must always stick to the music, there is no other way. Teach the oneâs he bring, teach them the music, teach everyone the music. We might win this thing. Remember. Fight, music, train, everyone, love, babyâŠâ Her eyes drooped close and she sagged in her arms. I donât know what the hell she just said, her wolf said as Sarah lowered Luna back into the bed, but Iâve got a feeling it ainât good.
Chapter 10
Marissa came a mere 5 minutes later and went directly up to the nursery, no âhiâ no gentle nod of the head, there was no time for that. When she was Luna was sleeping she calmed down a little, and looked to Sarah who had stopped her pacing.
âDo you have any idea what fighting has to do with music? Because she just told me a whole load of nonsense that had something to do with training and music.â She gushed out then bit her nails. Doesnât do it often, sheâs nervous,
her power told her. Her power wasnât some kind of orb that mother moon had placed in her. No, no. because that would be too simple for her mother moon. Her power was an actual person, like her wolf. They would conversate, discuss plans and joke around. Marissa didnât think that was weird being that Rosa had the same thing.
âIâm sure it was nothing, she has visions. She normally tells me about it since Iâm always around her but it sounds like she was in the middle of one when you came.â Marissa said and walked to the crib. Soft snoring emanated from her cute little mouth. The mouth that, Marissa was sure, would one day be anything but cute.
âSheâs resting now, thatâs all that counts. Did she say what was coming? I only saw rogues, vamps and fey. But Iâve got a feeling itâs much more than that.â Marissa said as she stripped off her leather jacket.
âUhm⊠She said something âbout ogres and dragons. You pretty much said it all.â Sarah said as she continued to nibble on her finger nails.
âYouâve got nothing to worry about. Ogres are pretty easy to take down with our teeth and claws. Itâs the dragons that Iâm worried. They donât go down half as easily as I would like. Fey are tricky though, with that magic and shit. Not natural. Vamps are a little difficult seeing as theyâre almost as strong as us, but with a little training we should be able to take them. After that itâs all down to the rogues and hunters, weâve done that countless times but the
