Jerks! Ugh, they are SUCH traitorâs!
Jessiah grabbed my waist and tried to throw me over his shoulder but I grabbed him and pushed him roughly against the truck. In fast motion! Cool huh?!
He groaned and rolled his eyes, âStupid powerful lady, chickâŠthing.â
I chuckled and let him go.
âLalalalala!â I sang as I reached into my pocket for a cookie
I only had two left! Ah, the horror!
âGuysâŠâ I trailed off
They all looked at me, âWhat?!â
âI only have two cookies left.â I cried
They sighed and creepy dude just HAD to speak up.
âWhy donât you grow up and act mature for once?â He sneered at
âWhy would I want to grow up? So I can be old and wrinkly like you?â I glared
âYou know what!â He yelled stalking towards me
He reached his hand out and I grabbed it, twisting it behind his back.
âDonât ever attempt to touch me again, understood?â I whispered in his ear
He growled and tried to get free.
âCreepy dude, if you havenât noticed that Iâm stronger than you in the shirt amount of time youâve know me. Youâre an idiot.â I stated pushing him away from me
He tried to touch me again but Jonny slammed him against the truck. Ha ha, Creepy dude.
âDonât. Touch. Her.â He growled, âIf you do. I will personally kill you.â
Creepy dude nodded, terrified. I smirked and sat down on the ground, criss-cross applesauce.
âThank you, Jonny.â I smiled picking up a pebble, âSo when are we going?â
âCan you try talking to Kyle again? Tell him to tell you where he is.â Jonny commanded
âYes sir!â I said putting my wall down
âHeyllo, Kyle Anthony Jacobs.â
I sang
âAre you at home?â
âNope. Outside the forest by the see-ers kingdom. Youâre Daddy told me to make you tell me where you are. If that makes sense.â
I finished, thoroughly confused
He sighed, âThe room in dark red, brick walls, and thereâs a window like 100,000 feet up in the frigginâ air. I chained up, the chains are pretty strong though. â
âThanks! Finally, couldnât you just tell me earlier?! Gursh Nursh!â
âSorry.â
I could hear the smile in his voice
âNo prob. See you in a bit.â
âLove you.â
âI love you too!â
I yelled before coming back to reality
âThe room is dark red, has brick walls and thereâs a window thatâs really high up. He said heâs chained up but the chains are really strong. Youâll need someone strong to do it. If you can.â I smirked, knowing I was the strongest
âNo.â Jonny said bluntly
I pouted and stood up, âPlease? I even have a cookie for him.â
âNo. Benjamin, Blake, Derek, Declan, and Justin, let me have a word with you.â Jonny said walking away
âOhhhh, you guys have been bad boys.â I tsked
They rolled their eyes and followed Jonny. I smirked and sat back down.
âLalalalala, Iâm so bored!â I expressed loudly
âShut up.â Creepy dude snarled
I stood up and walked up to him, âWhy when you open your mouth all I hear is a whining little girls voice? Iâm going to tell you ONE more time. You donât have to like me because, I, for damn sure donât like you.â I stated with finality in my voice
He cringed and stepped away.
âThatâs right, Creepy dude. Back the fuck up.â I sneered
âDonât talk to him like that!â Lashawnaâs annoying voice yelled
I slowly looked over to her, âYou have MAJOR issues.â
âHow?!â She shrieked
âYou hate me because I mated with Kyle. Can I help that? No, I canât. So you need to drop it before I actually do something about it.â I glared
She stalked over to me and we were soon face to face. I was slightly taller but you could barely notice.
âYes?â I asked sweetly
âHow can we even trust you? You could be sided with them.â She snarled looking at everybody to get it into their minds that Iâm evil
âSo you think Iâm helping them?â I asked in a dull voice
âYes.â She said bluntly
I walked a little closer, âSee, hereâs the thing Lashawna. You say or rather assume Iâm helping the see-ers, correct?â
She nodded so I continued, walking closer to her again, âYour assuming will get you nowhere because you of all people know Iâm not helping them, am I right?â I smirked
She visibly stiffened, âW-what?â
I turned to look at the rest of the pack, âWhen we went to get ice cream, was Lashawna there?â
Some shook their heads while others just stared in confusion. I turned back to Lashawna,
âSo, if you werenât with the pack, where were you?â I asked
âI was in the guest room.â She stated confidently but I could see how nervous she was through her eyes
âIs that so?â I asked
âYes.â She said smugly
âDonât think so. Because as I recall you werenât even there when the attack was happening. You were gone but what I want to know is, where were you?â
âI-I was in the bathroom.â She stuttered slightly
âYouâre lying. You said a minute ago you were in the guest bedroom. Is it the guest room or the bathroom?â I smirked
âB-bathroom.â She stated
âWere you now?â I smirked widely, âWhich one?â
âT-the oneâŠdownstairs.â She said
âWhere is it located?â I asked
âEnd of the hall.â She said confidently
âWrong. Middle. So that right there proves that you werenât in the bathroom. Wanna lie about the guest room now?â
âWhere are you taking this?â She snarled
âI think you know.â I smirked and cocked a brow
âNo, I donât think I do.â She glared
âDo you want me to say it bluntly?â I asked
âYes.â
âYouâre helping the see-ers.â I stated
âWhat?! No Iâm not!â She yelled
âWow, defensive much?â I grinned
âIâm not helping the see-ers.â She growled
âYou want me to tell you how I know this?â I asked
âWhy not?â She said sarcastically
âYou remember when you got sent out for hissing at me?â She nodded, âYou were alone for about ten minutes. And when we went down stairs and I walked out the front door. Hundreds of see-ers just so happened to be there. How could they have known I was going to be the first one out the door? Unless it was someone in the house telling them.â
She stayed silent so I continued, âNow fast forwarding to the walk to the ice cream parlor. When we got there I saw bright green eyes hiding in the trees. Now donât get me wrong cause that could have been anybody.
âBut what about when I stormed out into the alley? I saw those same green eyes connected to a platinum blonde wolf hiding behind the dumpster. How many packs are in this state or near your house?â I asked Jonny
âJust Rick and I.â He stated in confusion
I nodded, âHow many of you have blonde hair here?â
A few people raised their hands, âNow raise your hand if you have blonde hair and green eyes?â
They all dropped their hands and I turned to Lashawna, âAnd it comes down to the only blonde haired green eyed girl in the pack.
âBefore I walked into the parlor I looked back, but you didnât notice that because you were staring at Kyle, in remorse and regret, might I add. I saw you come out of the shadows followed by Ad here.â I said motioning to Adam
âI left thinking it was nothing but what a mistake that was, huh? I havenât trusted you since I first talked to you. You know how people say they have a sixth sense for that kinda thing? Letâs just say I have that.
âYou know being the âUniterâ and everything has itâs perks sometimes. You have a power, right? Mind telling us what it is?â
She didnât blink, just stood there staring at me.
âDonât worry Iâll tell them. She has the power to make people do anything she wants. Adam here was apart of this little setup because he was under theâŠinfluence, shall I say. The see-ers needed a shape-shifter but no one would go against the Uniter.
âSo they took desperate measures. They knew you guys wouldnât let me go that easily so they had to get someone inside to help. Inside the pack, someone that would be trusted by you guys. Trust worthy. Right, Lashawna?
âThey chose you because they knew you wouldnât like me. Seeing as I am Kyleâs mate. The man youâre in love withâŠsupposedly. They also chose you because of your power. But guess what? Kyleâs immune to supernatural powers.
âHow do I know this? Easy, I have EVER powerful creature on my side right now. They can talk ya know. But they didnât tell me you were helping the see-ers, no I had too figure that out on my own.
âIt wasnât hard though. I just had to look carefully. Pay attention to the small things. See, I knew from the beginning that someone in this pack was going to betray me. You know Thyme? Yeah, sheâs my mom. She could see the future. You know what they say? Like mother like daughter.
âI saw that someone was going to betray and hurt me but I could never see itâs face, only blonde hair. But hey, it couldâve been anyone. A friend of the packs or a complete stranger.
âAs you know Lashawna, many people donât like me. For what the reason? It is beyond me. But I know why you helped them. I understand. You wanted to get me out of the way so you could have Kyle.
âBut if you claim you love him, why hurt him by killing his mate? You donât hurt the ones you love. You protect them. You canât love Kyle as you say you do because you put his life and these packs lives in danger.â I finished
Everyone stood speechless and staring at me in shock.
âHey, Lashawna can you tell me something?â I asked, when she didnât reply I shrugged and asked anyway, âHow many see-ers are out there in that forest right now, waiting to attack?â I asked not taking my eyes off her but pointed to towards the forest where we were suppose to go through
She tensed even more and her eyes glazed over and white took over her green eyes. I though, but not her thoughts.
âCan you see her eyes?â I asked aloud, âThat only happens when youâre communicating with a see-er.â I stated
Everybody moved to get a good look at her eyes, when they did they gasped and stepped back.
Her eyes slowly turned back to green and she smirked at me, âA lot.â
âYeah, 6,289 to be exact.â I said
She glared but smirked again, âYouâre right I donât love Kyle like I claim too. I love the thought of being with him. He thought of being Alpha Female. So itâs not going to hurt me when they kill him right now.â
Everyone gasped and started talking.
âStop!â I yelled smirking
The talking stopped and everyone turned to me.
âThey say that the Uniter is the most powerful creature in the world. Me being the Uniter I am the most powerful person in the world. Kyleâs had a protection spell on him ever since I found out how to cast a spell. With this spell on him, the sharpest knife in the universe couldnât even hurt him.â I said smirking the whole time
âWe can just take it off.â She smirked
âCanât take off the Uniterâs spell.â I sang, âYou want to know the only way to release every spell I have ever cast?â I asked
âWe already know.â She said smugly
âWhat do you have to do?â I smirked
âTake away your powers.â
âAnd how do you plan on doing that? See-ers canât hurt me. Plus, you canât take away the Uniterâs powers. Itâs impossible.â I stated smirking smugly
âNo itâs not.â She growled
I raised a brow, âHow do you know?â
âWe have one of the most powerful witches on our side.â She smirked
I raised my head slightly, âMay I ask who it is?â
âItâs Thym-â She abruptly stopped as realization dawned upon her face
âYou finally understand. Yes, Thyme is the most powerful witch, besides me that is, but sheâs on our side. Iâm assuming youâre using Elijah too? My Daddy?â
Her eye twitched, âWe can just use
