and snuggled close, sliding her leg over his.

Red groaned slightly."Sorcha... I'm sleeping." he chuckled, "But I suppose." he kissed her shoulder.

Sorcha shivered. "i was just getting close...but i wouldn't mind if we made love again.." she splayed her hand wide on his abdomen.

Red chuckled."You're doing a good job of proving your point."

Sorcha smiled. "are you really tired?...i don't want you to be tired..." she fretted.

"No, I'm not, but I was kind of procrastinating getting up so that I didn't have to go to work." he replied.

Sorcha smiled. "just once more before you have to leave?" she pleaded.

Red kissed her."You are very demanding." he smiled, crawling on top of her.

Sorcha nodded, and kissed him back, eagerly. as she spread her legs.

Red kissed her passionately, diving into her without hesitation.

Sorcha moaned against his mouth, as her wetness clung to him, and she wrapped her legs around him.

Red pumped into her, kissing her all over, touching her wherever he could.

Sorcha's fingers dug into his butt, as she rose up to meet his wild thrusts.

Red groaned, pushing harder.

Sorcha moaned against his mouth, as her inner muscles started convulsing.

Red kissed her, squeezing her breasts hard.

Sorcha gasped, as she dripped between her legs, and shivered, as her climax hit her hard.

Red squeezed really hard, pushing into her as hard as he could, kissing her hard. He climaxed into her convulsing body, pouring his seed into her womb.

Sorcha lay shaking, and shivering as she held him to her.

Red kissed her tenderly, soothing any aches he might have caused.

Sorcha winced, and could already see some purple and red showing up. "w-what did you do?"

"Sorry... I..." Red backed away, pulling on his pants quickly, expecting her to toss him out, "I was too rough, I'm sorry."

Sorcha was shaking as she covered her tender breasts, her cheeks red. "i guess...your gonna rush off to work.." she whispered. and turned onto her side, away from him.

"Only if you want me too.... Sorcha, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you." Red looked like he was gonna cry. He was really sorry for what he had done and if she had to guess by his previous actions, a little disgusted with himself for it.

Sorcha's shoulders shook. as she curled up, memories taking over.

"Sorcha, I... I'm sorry, it won't happen again.. I won't sleep with you again." he left, taking all of his things with him.

Sorcha cried, caught up in the past, present , and the bleak future.

Red wasn't focused on anything that day.
"Red, focus or I'm gonna nick you!" Kris yelled at him.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." Red felt bad. He hadn't meant to.
"Didn't mean to what?" Kris asked, "What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing, I... I'm gonna go for a run." He left his things on the bench nearby and headed for the forest. He still wasn't back at dusk when it started pouring and lightning.

Sorcha had fallen asleep, her face wet from tears, and with the covers by her feet, the bruises were all formed.

Kris knocked on the pole outside and when she didn't answer, peeked his head in, hoping to find Red.
"Oh my gosh!" his exclamation woke her, "I'm gonna kill him!" he raced out, searching and calling Red's name, "Red, you are dead when I find you for what you did to her!"

Sorcha grabbed the covers, covering herself, her eyes wide.

The next morning, a wet-looking Red walked out of the trees, surrendering himself.
"I'm here, Kris... Do what you want." he knelt before the other man, looking utterly defeated. Kris whipped out his sword.
"I should behead you for what you did to her... You left her bruised." Sorcha had just come out of her tent to see all of this, "But I think a better punishment would be to have to watch as she goes about her life... Without you to beat her." Kris cut his shirt from his body and slashed a deep cut into his chest, but Red didn't even flinch. It wasn't enough to kill him. "That will give you a scar to remember your punishment by." Red just sat there, his head hung in shame, even when a few others who agreed with Kris came up and beat him. Sorcha noticed that some didn't agree, but no one could ignore her bruises.
Claiming her Man

Sorcha rushed forward a nightgown on, and grabbed kris' arm, from hurting red again, her face was tight with anger.

Kris looked at her questioningly, as did many others. Red simply watched himself bleed.

Sorcha glared back. "if anybody should hurt him.. shouldn't it be me?..you don't even know how i got the bruises!"

Kris handed her his sword."Then go ahead." Red looked up at her, his eyes telling her how sorry he was.

Sorcha pointed the sword at kris. her eyes shot daggers. "you don't even care to want to know how i got the bruises! i wont hurt him...i love him..."

"If he loved you, then why would he bruise you?" Kris challenged.

Sorcha laughed, "because..he wasn't thinking logically...when your making love...how can you know if your holding someone tight if they too are caught up in the moment?...it wasn't till afterword..when the bruises started to form and i felt sore..." she snapped. she dropped the sword and kris' feet, and knelt by red.

He looked over at her and mouthed, I'm sorry.
Kris glared but said nothing, understanding now.

Sorcha bit her lip, but her eyes betrayed her tears, as she hugged him. "i'm sorry i got scared..."

Red winced, putting his forehead on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry too."

Sorcha pulled back, and grabbed the remains of his shirt and ripped it off, and pressed it to his wound, Sorcha stared him in the eyes. "i love you red..and i forgive you.."

Red flinched this time as she pressed it to him. He nodded.
"Come on, Red, let's get you cleaned up." Trevor, a friend of Red's, stepped forward and helped Red to his feet, taking him to his own tent. Trevor sat Red down on the cot and began to clean his wound, ignoring Red's winces.
"You're an idiot, Red, but I understand... Kris would have killed you if you had waited any longer." Red simply nodded.
"I know..."
"Then why didn't you fight back?" Trevor asked.
"Because I didn't want to. I'd hurt her, Trevor, I wasn't gonna live with that knowledge, I can't hurt the one I love." Red looked at Sorcha.

Sorcha kissed his hand. "i'll be fine red..."

Red nodded, taking her hand in his. Trevor put a few stitches in his chest, Red winced but refused pain medication, and then bandaged him as best he could.
"Watch him, Sorcha, make sure the wound doesn't get infected... You'll be more respected for this." Trevor said to Red.
"Respect was not what I was looking for." Red replied.
"I know." Trevor replied.

Sorcha crawled onto the cot next to him, and curled up against his good side.

Trevor cleaned up the bloodied things and left. Red lay his head on top of Sorcha's.

Sorcha relaxed against him, she felt tired and sore, she soon fell asleep.

Red lay her down gently on the cot, moving to the one stool in his tent, watching her sleep.

Sorcha winced in her sleep, and she muttered his name.

Red didn't sleep, he just watched her.

Sorcha tossed and turned all night, her eyes fluttering, when dawn was approaching.

Red slowly placed a kiss on her forehead, calming her nightmares.

Sorcha relaxed more, rolling onto her side, the blanket slipped showing a yellow bruise.

Red looked away as he pulled it back up to cover her. He couldn't stand to see what he'd done, it was still too horrible and fresh in his mind.

Sorcha's eyes flicked open, she caught his hand. "red?" she whispered in the dim light.

"I'm here." he replied.

Sorcha relaxed. "you need sleep too red.."

"I will." he promised.

Sorcha glared at him sleepily. "lay with me...just for a little?"

Red sighed and nodded, gently scooting her over and sliding down next to her.

Sorcha rested her head on his shoulder and rested her arm o his waist, snuggling close.

Red ignored the small blossom of pain in his chest, happy to be holding her close again.

Sorcha sighed. "how are you feeling...any pain?"

Red kissed her hair."Don't worry about me. Rest."

Sorcha glared, and leaned up to look him in the eyes."red!...are you in any pain?"

"No, Sorcha, I'm not. Alright? Yes, it stings when pressure is put upon it, but other than that I feel nothing." he snapped back.

Sorcha nodded. "thank you for a answer" she rolled onto her side, and face away from him.

Red drew her back."I'm sorry... I just don't want you worrying about me.. My nerves are frayed, my patience short, but I will try not to snap at you like that... It's wrong for me to do so."

Sorcha sighed, "i'm irritable..." she smiled. "i am a woman..and this is a bad day mood...i'm sorry i snapped at you...and i forgive you"

"I forgive you too." he replied.

Sorcha sighed, and turned back against him, feeling tired.

Red kissed her hair and held her close.

Sorcha fell asleep again.

Red slowly fell asleep.

Sorcha dreamed that mark was standing over her, hitting her, she screamed and screamed, and covered her face.

Red grunted when she elbowed him in the chest in her sleep. She'd been doing it for a while now, because he was bruised and finding it hard to breathe. He slid out from under her and gently shook her awake.
"Sorcha... Love, wake up.... Wake up, love, it's just a dream.... Sorcha, it's just a dream.."

Sorcha gasped, and woke, then when she saw it was just him she started to cry.

Red held her close, comforting her as much as possible."Shh.... Everything's OK."

Sorcha shook her head, as she shivered in his arms. "h-he's still out there..." she whispered.

"Shh... Don't worry about it. I will protect you." Red promised.

Sorcha's tears rolled off her cheek and onto his chest. it was raining out. "red...promise?"

"I promise. Forever, I will protect you, Sorcha." he kissed her cheeks.

Sorcha relaxed slightly. and shuddered.

Red held her close. It was raining so hard, no one would be out doing anything today.

Sorcha sighed, and smiled. "want to go walking in the rain?"

"Are you sure you want to?" he asked, "I don't want you to get
