over, I survived and she didn’t.” I chugging the beer when I told him.
“Aw man I’m sorry, tragic shit like that is very hard to get over.” He says with sincere.
“Yeah, no shit.” I took the last swing of the beer from the bottle. “Can I get another one of these, please?” I waved the bottle to him and then set it down when he nodded ‘yes’.
“Who was the lucky girl?” he asked as he sat the next bottle. I place my hand around the bottle.
“What… oh ummm….. Rachael Garner.” I took a swig of the beer.
“Wait is that Quinn’s older sister?” he asked.
“Yeah, how do ya’ know her?” I asked back.
“She works for me here. Did she ever tell you were she worked?”
“No, not really.” I almost laughed.
“Well that’s probably why Quinn wanted time off.”
“What?” I was starting to get buzzed then getting confused.
“She had asked me for time off and said there was a family emergency.” Stan thought a little bit.
“Yeah that’s probably why.” I finished off the second beer. “I need another one Stan.” He handed me another bottle.
“Hey, take it easy on the alcohol tonight, Okay?” he said.
“Okay ‘mom’.”
“I’m serious kid.”
“God, everybody becomes your fucking mom after drinking two shots of whisky and three beers, what the hell?” I was getting a lil’ defensive.
“Keep drinking more, I might have to call your fucking mom just to come hall your ass outta here. Do I make myself clear now to you?” I wasn’t taking him seriously anymore, I was pretty hammered. “I’m gonna make a call, don’t do anything stupid while I’m gone okay?”
“Okay.” He left and went to the back. I wasn’t going stop drinking until I run out of money or when Stan runs out of beer. I just laid my head on the counter on top of my arms and shut my eyes. Need You Now Part 2- Quinn's POV

I was sitting on my couch watching Auction Hunters on ‘Spike TV’, drinking a beer. While I sat there I heard my phone ring from my bedroom. I got up off the couch and power walked to my room and picked up the phone on my night stand. I look at the caller ID and it was Stan. I answer it. “What’s up, Stan?” I asked sitting down on my bed taking a swig of my beer.
“Hey Quinn, I need you to get down here right now.” He said with an irritated tone in his voice.
“Why? What’s goin’ on?” I asked again.
“Ya’ know Milo, your brother in-law, is here getting hammered and I need you to take him home, he needs a lot of rest.” He says. I almost wanted to gag at the thought of Milo getting shit-faced.
“I’ll be down there soon.” I hung up the phone and put on some shoes and grabbed my keys and headed out the door.
I parked my car out back behind the bar. I turned off the ignition and got out of the car. I walked into the bar and saw Milo with his head on the counter. I saw Stan wiping the counter with a white rag. “I parked my car out back, Stan.” I walked to the counter and sat next to Milo.
“Will you back later to pick it up?”
“I’m gonna pick it up tomorrow morning.”
“Okay.” Stan went into the back. Milo turned his head facing me.
“Hey, what are you doing here?” He asked me all drunkenly.
“Stan called me.”
“Great, just what I need is to be baby-sat by my sister in-law.” He looked away.
“Look I’m not as thrilled to be doing this either, so get the fuck over it!” I was getting irritated. I stood up and started to leave. “Let’s go, Milo!” I yelled at him. I looked and he got up and headed towards me. He then stopped in front me.
“We gonna go? Or are you just gonna stand in my way?” he said a little mad.
“Let’s go.” I walked out the door and held it for him to pass. I followed him to his car. He pulls out his keys about to open the driver’s seat. “Keys?” I put my hand out in front of him. He didn’t want to give me the keys. “Give me your keys?” I still had my hand out in front of him.
“No!” he said still holding the keys. I tried to grab them but he pulled them away from me.
“Give me your goddamn keys, Milo?”
“What are you my fucking mom?” he still didn’t give me the keys. This guy was pissing me off. I tried to reach for them again but he pulled them away from me again. He went back a few steps and then puts the keys down his pants.
“Goddamn it Milo! Give me the keys?” I was pissed and upset.
“You’re gonna have to come and get them yourself.” He said starting to laugh. I got closer to him and tried to push him but he grabbed my arms and we both fell over. I landed on top of him. “I didn’t realize you liked being on top.” He smirked at me. I ignored him and stuffed my hand down his pants and tried to feel for the keys. I felt the keys and grabbed them and pulled them out in my hand out of Milo’s jeans. He grabbed my hand with keys in my palm and he turned me over. My back was to the ground and now he was on top. I struggled to push him off of me but he restrains my arms to the ground and then I just looked into his blue eyes and he drew his face closer into mine. Are lips then met and he was kissing me. I had sparks bursting in my stomach and I felt like I was floating, but then I realized he’s drunk and he probably won’t remember this moment like I will and could taste the beer from his mouth. I pushed him off of me and slapped him on the chest. “What’s your fucking problem?” he was sitting up and then stood up.
“What’s my problem? My problem is you. Why are you doing this to yourself? You never get shit-faced. What would Rachael think if she saw you like this?” I was trying to fight back tears.
“Rachael? She’s fucking dead?” he crossed the line when he said that. I walked to him and slapped him across the face. His head was turned away from me. I could tell he knew I was upset, he looked at me briefly then he finally went into the car on the passenger’s side and slammed the door which made me jump. I looked away from the car and stared at the keys. Tears streamed down my face.
“Damn it.” I said to myself. I wiped away the tears and got into the car.

I and Milo didn’t talk the rest of the way to his house; of course halfway there he passed out. As I pulled up in front of the house I took out the key from the ignition. I got out of the car and headed to the passenger side. I opened the door and tried to wake up Milo. “Milo, wake up.” I whispered to him and he slowly opened his eyes. I unbuckled his seat belt and helped him out of the car. He put one of his arms over my shoulders and closed the car door and carried him into the house. When we got inside I closed the front door and we headed up the stairs to his bedroom. He was getting heavy but we were almost to his room.
I opened his bedroom door and we walked in. I laid him on his bed, took off his shoes and covered him with an afghan. I took off my jacket and placed it on the back of the chair in front of his bed. I sat in the chair and stared at him and started thinking about what he said and the kiss, I was very confused I don’t know what to do anymore. My feelings for him right now are like a roller coaster I’m pissed at him but at the same time I love him. I placed my forehead in my hands in frustration. I started getting tears again and they fell onto my knees. I raised my head and wiped away the tears. I needed rest and I went onto the other side of the bed and laid there next to him, my eyes were getting heavy and them I closed them and went to sleep.

Rain- Milo's POV

I woke up in my bed and next to me was Quinn. I was wandering why she was in my bed and why I have the hugest headache. I climbed out of bed without waking up Quinn. The afghan that was on me I covered Quinn with it. I walked to the window and it was raining, I hoped and hoped that the sun would come out soon but it just kept raining. I walked into the bathroom next to my bed and opened up the medicine cabinet. I grabbed some Advil for my headache. I put a couple of Advil in my mouth and filled up the glass next the sink with water and took a swig of water and swallowed the water and pills with it. When I was looking in the mirror I realized that my left cheek was bruised up. What the hell did I do last night? I thought to myself. I walked out of the bathroom and I looked over and Quinn’s eyes were opened. I could see tears forming in her eyes. I knelt down to her level. “Are you okay?” I asked her rubbing her arm with my hand. She nods ‘no’ and she takes her sleeve and wipes the tears away. “What’s the matter?” I asked again.
“A lot of things.” She sits up and looks at her frail hands.
“Like what?” I was eager.
“Last night……..” she said to me, I was afraid to know what happened last night.
“What happened? I don’t remember anything.”
