like she couldn’t let go of me.
“I thought you needed to go?” I ask her.
“I don’t have to.” I personally didn’t want her to leave. I wanted her to stay with me, right now. We were still swaying back and forth. Quinn lays her head in my chest. She was warm to the touch. She grew very silent and me and Quinn just danced to the music.

The next day, I saw a couple of good friends of mine for lunch; Mark, Caleb, Taylor, and Kyle. Mark had dark brown hair and dresses like a rockstar. Caleb had black hair and wore these red, rectangular glasses. Taylor was Caleb’s twin sister, she looked like Caleb but was a tomboy. And Kyle had blonde hair with black streaks, he was the shy and quiet one of the group and secretly has a crush on Taylor. “So whose this mystery girl we’ve been hearing about?” Mark said through his thick British accent.
“Is she real or fake?” Taylor said after Mark.
“You’ll never know.” I said right away responding to Taylor’s question. Caleb kept looking at his palm pilot and Kyle was staring at Taylor.
“C’mon Milo? Tell us. We won’t make fun of you.” Caleb spoke in a serious tone.
“It’s Quinn Garner.” I took a sip of my drink.
“What?!” Kyle yelled out. It shocked the rest of us that he speaks. He almost made me jump out of my seat. “Sorry.” he said in a whisper.
“What is so bad about that?” I asked looking at each one of them.
“You do realize that’s Rachael, your wife’s sister right?” Taylor reassured me.
“Yea.” I say.
“Remember Tay’, used to be wife. She’s dead.” Mark said. I looked at him with saddened eyes. “Oh shit, I forgot Milo, sorry.”
“It’s ok man.” I said.
“Mark, you ass whole! You could have the decency to filter your damn mouth!” Taylor was starting to pick a fight with Mark........ Again!
“Oh, I’m sorry! When did you start to become the speech police?” Mark says.
“That doesn’t make sense you immature bastard!” Taylor says loudly. There were some other customers that were looking at our table strangely.
“Guys........ guys........” I said quietly to them but they didn’t answer. Taylor and Mark were both standing up and screaming at each other. I felt sorry for Kyle being in between the two of them. “Hey!” I yelled at them and I got their attention. “Sit down!” I scolded them. They sit down and Kyle uncovers his ears. “Sorry!” I say to everyone else in the restaurant. “What is the big deal with me dating Quinn?” I finally ask them.
“She has commitment issues.” Taylor says.
“And were did you hear that from?” I asked.
“It’s not what I heard, it’s what I saw.”
“What did you see?” I was begging Taylor to get to a point.
“Remember her relationship with Andrew? Yea, that went down the toilet.”
“Ok, one guy. That doesn’t mean shit, Taylor.”
“She also kept secrets for Rachael.” She says sighing.
“Like what kind of secrets?”
“Secrets that she didn’t want you to know.” She says again.
“Taylor, I need you to be specific on what kind of secret.”
“........... Rachael was pregnant.” I was shocked. I sat there looking at Taylor as my eyes started to well up. I was trying to fight back the tears. “I’m sorry Milo. You weren’t supposed to find out like this.” I was getting out of the booth.
“Were you going?” Mark asked.
“Sorry guys, I need to go.” I rushed out of the restaurant.

I was in front of Quinn’s apartment door, knocking constantly. As I kept knocking, she answers the door. She was sporting a black tank top and blue jeans. “Why didn’t you tell me Rachael was pregnant?” She stood there in the doorway.
“What?” I walked in her apartment without an invitation.
“Rachael was pregnant. Why didn’t you tell me?” I was shouting at her.
“How did you find out?” She asks me.
“Taylor! Now why didn’t you tell me?”
“Because she had an affair!” She yells back at me. I sat down on the couch in the living room of Quinn’s apartment. “She was unfaithful to you! I didn’t tell you because I didn’t want to see you get hurt!” I laid my head back and covered my face with my hands.
“You should’ve told me. Were friends.” I say to her.
“It’s not my job to tell you! It’s not my job to get my friends hurt for something somebody else did!” She was frantic. I looked at her.
“How far along was she?” I asked calmly.
“Four months.” She choked up trying to say it. “You want to know how she really died?” I just looked at her with shock. “She was forced into an early labor and stress caused her to die.” She was crying. I sat up on the couch and looked down. I didn’t want to cry but the tears won. I stood up and was going to wrap my arms around her but she just walked away from me. I walked myself out of the apartment.

I got home and the sun was setting. When I closed the door I leaned my back against it. I just slid down to the ground. My eyes were burning from crying. I placed my head on my knees and sobbed to myself. Starting to pray to God, wanting Rachael back. I was so upset and aggravated at the same time, I got up and went to the basement were Rachael kept some of her things. I grabbed a opened box and threw it across the room. I threw another box and papers started flying around. I threw a few more box and the basement became a mess. I stood still in the middle of the mess and sat down, putting my head down in between my knees with my hands on the back of my neck. I just thought to myself in anger. The Hardest Part- Quinn's POV

I was laying in bed crying my eyes out, picturing the argument between me and Milo. I felt ashamed for not telling him that Rachael had an affair and was pregnant. I don’t’ want to see him hurt but shit just sometimes happens I guess. I really didn’t want to tell him. Hours pass and I finally cried myself to sleep.

I woke in my bed and saw that it was raining outside my window. I looked at my cell phone and it said that it was 8:19 am. I went into my contacts on my phone and passed a number I hadn’t called in years. I pressed call and it was ringing. After a few moments pass someone picked up. “Hello?” A deep male voice said on the other line.
“Hey Andrew, it’s Quinn.” I said sniffling.
“Hey, god its been a while since we talked.” he says.
“Yea.” My voice trembles.
“What’s up?” He asks.
“Oh not much. Hey, are you doing anything for lunch?”
“No. You already asking me out on a date?” I laughed a little.
“No, just lunch.” I said to him.
“Were did you have in mind?”
“The usual place.”
“Alright, see you at noon than?”
“Yup.”
“Bye.”
“Bye.” I hung up my phone and stared at the window, looking at the rain. I closed my eyes and fell back asleep.

I was sitting at a two person table at the Hollow-Wood Café. I looked around then someone came in. It was Andrew, he had very dark brown hair looks black, he was sporting a black t-shirt, denim jacket, dark blue jeans, and doc mirtens boots. He sees me and comes to the table. I stand up “Hey” we said as we hugged. We both sat down.
“How have you been?” he asks taking off his jacket and hanging it on the chair.
“Eh, iffy.”
“When you called you sounded a little upset.” He looks at me.
“Yeah, a lot has been going on. My sister died some months ago....”
“I heard......... from Lila.”
“Lila still talks to you?” I asked getting off topic.
“Yeah....... anyway what else has been going on?”
“Well after a while me and Milo sort of hooked up. And we’ve been in this weird relationship. But yesterday, he comes to me angry because he found out that Rachael was pregnant and I knew about it. But she wasn’t just pregnant she had an affair and that’s how she got pregnant. I never told him and he really wasn’t supposed to know.”
“Oh, so that’s why you were on the verge of tears this morning.” he pointed out.
“I was not on the verge of tears, my nose was stuffed up.”
“Yeah, whatever. Look, talking from personal experience, I would have said something about it earlier before it could have gotten complicated.” He points that out for me. “I love you Quinn, as a good friend I’m glad you told me.” He looks at his watch and then looked at me. “Shit, I gotta go. Sorry to cut this lunch short but my boss wants me at the country club for work.” He stands up and puts his jacket back on. I gave him a hug and he gave one back.
“Thank you for coming anyway.” I said to him smiling. “Bye” he waves bye to me. Wait? Country Club? I ran out of that Café so fast I practically tripped coming out of there. “OW!!!” I landed on my knees. I sat down looking at my knee. It was pretty bad, I covered it but it stings like hell. Someone knelt down to help. It was Andrew, “Are you ok?” asks me. I nodded no. “Ok.” He takes my left arm and wraps it around his neck and wraps his arm around my waist lifting me to my feet. I moved my right wrist and I had this huge pain going up and down my arm.
“Ow.” I said out loud.
“What’s wrong?”
“My wrist, it hurts.”
“Ok I’m gonna take you to my place and fix you up.”
“What about work?”
“My boss can wait.”

We were at Andrew’s house and I was sitting in a chair. Andrew sat in a chair across from me and my leg was on his lap. He pulls up my pant leg above my knee and looks at the wound. “Well, no deep cuts or anything like that.” Andrew says to me. His mom came from another room and gave him a first aid kit. “Thanks mom.”
“Your welcome sweetie.” His mother left the room.
“How come you still live with your parents?” he takes a white rag from the table and puts some hydrogen peroxide on it. He takes the rag and cleans my knee up. It stung like a bitch and I cringed every time the rag touched the wound.
“My dad is sick and so I have to stay and help while
