He shook his head, “No, no… You didn’t look a little like her. You do look like her. Everything about you looked like Marina. Your ocean-blue eyes, your chocolate-brown hair, your white-blemish skin colour, your straight pointed nose, you natural long black lashes, your perfectly arched eyebrows, your thin heart-shaped pinkish lips, your height, everything.”
I became more surprise, “Really? But I’m not half angel or relative to her. I’m the daughter of Ahave family and a uniter. I’m confused.” I groaned and I felt like my head was started to spin.
“I know. That’s why your father keeps you here until we find out your powers, abilities, and your looks. You really looked like Marina.” he looked on his watch and stood up away from his chair.
“You’re leaving?” he nodded, “But I have lots of questions that you need to answer. I need answers. Please.” I begged and he smiled charmingly.
“I’ll do whatever I could to answer your questions Aisha but tomorrow is your first day of class and I’m very sure that you’re tired travelling all the way here in France.” He said apologising, “But I’ll visit you every night to check on your skills improvement.”
“Okay.” I whispered in agreement.
He walked to the main door of my room and he grabs the door handle. Before he could exit my room, he turned back at me, “Nobody knows about Marina’s story except to the royals and you don’t have to wear your hooded jumper every day around the school.”
I sighed in relief. He stepped outside and wave goodbye to me before he disappeared in sight.
I take a shower on my new bathroom and grab a night gown on my luggage. I jumped into my bed and nuzzled my head on the pillow. It smells like vanilla and I inhaled more of the scent until I fell into deep sleep.
