Dew drops on ashes
That's the slow
Process of Healing

Only time will tell
When the embers
Will be able to rest

Mesh with the ground
That nestles their spark
And caresses the glow

That provides just
A little bit of
Hope in the darkness

It will have to be
Enough for me to find
My way back to

The waters of Peace
That once ran
Through my mind

Like rivers of solace
And streams of delight
That replenished the Soul

Prepared me
For the long fight
Into Consciousness

For the time being
I will let my tongue
Taste the mist

That repairs my
Broken wings
Soldering the wounds

Until the healing is complete
It is the path of rebirth
It is the journey unseen.
