Everybody was running around like mad in the blazing sun. They knew that eventually they would all be dead. The sun and the Earth were going to collide soon. It was getting hotter and hotter. Oceans were steaming up. People were sweating like mad. Emily sat there, in the subway, hoping for this not to be happening. She could see lots of people rushing through, panicking. Craig comforted her, placing his hand on her knee.
''Do you want to know one thing I want to do before the world ends?'' Craig asked his good friend, Emily.
Emily shrugged. She looked into his eyes.
''I want to kiss you,'' he smiled.
This made Emily blush, because she wanted to kiss him too.
''Um...So will you kiss me?'' Craig asked.
Emily put her hands on Craig's cheeks. She grabbed Craig and kissed him.
''Of course I will,'' She laughed.
Craig cuddled Emily as they both laughed, although they were very scared of what was going to happen.
''I'm going to die single...'' He added. ''Maybe...Well, do you want to be my girlfriend? I don't want to die alone.''
Emily nodded and kissed his cheek.
''You're such a sweet boy.'' She said.
As they looked around, they could see plants were dying from heat and puddles were soaked up. The nearby stream was absolutley empty. They could smell the sweat from other people seen as it was boiling hot. Emily gasped for breath. It was so hot she felt as if she couldn't breathe. Craig took his top off. He couldn't bear the heat. They could hear crying from children. It was gettting even harder to breathe. They were both de-hydrated.
Emily then passed out. Craig tried to awake her.
''Emily! Emily!!!'' He trembled, breathing heavily. There was nothing he could do for her. There were people running around still, pushing and shoving. Infact, someone pushed Craig. He was getting pulled away from Emily with the big crowds.
''Stop! I need to stay here! My girlfriend's passed out!'' He screamed at the crowd. It was too late. He was already being swept away by them.
*1 hour later*
There were thousands and thousands, probably millions of dead bodies were lying in the streets from dehydration. Craig even had to walk on them to get back to Emily. When Craig finally got back to Emily he found that she was dead too. He weeped on her dead body, kissing he forehead.
''What can I do now?'' He screeched. He stood up and screamed to the sky.''WHAT CAN I DO NOW GOD!?'' He fell to the ground as he couldn't breathe. He lay by her, as tears rolled down his face, for a while, until they steemed up.
There was nothing he could do except wait to die himself. He lay there, and eventually, he could see the sun burtsting through the atmosphere. His body was scolding hot and red raw. He lay there, fearfully waiting to die. There were a few other survivors too, but not many. They weren't in good condition either, with skin as red as tomatoes. Was this really the end? Was the world really going to end? Craig cried with pain as his skin was burning hot. He took a last breath. His eyes closed, but never opened again. It was obvious that he was dead. Later on, the last few survivors died too. The world had finally ended...
