I took a walk through the graceful meadows. It was raining previously so the pollen was kicked up. I stopped too sneeze, turning my head too the ground and saw a small shape. A small yelp was heard as I almost trampled on the shape. I moved quickly and saw my small cat. Smiling, I picked it up, it feistily squiggles and ended up on my shoulder. I sighed, my small cat felt like a lifelong friend. It had been with me since I was a kid, it remembered me... No, my thoughts are trailing.
I slowly turned the corner, my cat slipped a bit, causing its claws to sink into the bag that I forgot I was wearing. I smiled and picked the kitten up in a awkward way. I cradled it in my arms as I walked up a slanted hill. I sat underneath the tree, leaning against the damp bark. It was either damp or really cold, I didn’t mind. My cat leapt out of my arms and purred, clawing at my bag. I opened it, pulling out a small plastic bag that contained an open can of tuna.
Opening the bag, I put it down for the small cat to lap up. I looked at the sky, the words of my mother held onto my ears. “Treat everyone and everything with kindness, it could be your last day. So please keep fighting.” I mumbled slowly. My friends were for away from me so I treated far my cat the most. The memory of them hang too my cat like glue.
I, myself, was deemed sick. I had imaginary friends, a spiritual cat that followed me, pretending to eat from a can of tuna. I blocked them out, I knew that there words weren't kind. I smiled. My friends came to sit beside me again, they were laughing at a horrible pun about trees that were being made. I smiled. Friendship knows no bounds.
