I wrote this collection of love and friendship poems as my spirit moved me, after joining a poetry workshop web site and then later moving to a seaside town.

The poems in "The Sea, My Love, and Me" are poems of romance and of friendship inspired by people I met over the past couple years. They were written to express the love I felt for a couple of special people in my life, of my love for the seaside; and, also, in appreciation of a few wonderful friends who helped me through my personal journey after a divorce.

A twisted Romeo and
Juliet-esqe romance. A tale of scorned love.

This is a love story, which just happens to be western in its genre.

The two main characters have both been shot and they are dying.

I hope each reader will get a certain satisfaction from the story.

It is a sweet, yet, quite sad story and is almost guaranteed to bring a tear to the eye of even the strongest reader.

Hopefully, readers will be able to identify with the characters and thus, become absorbed with the action.

It is being Adult rated simply because of certain violent scenes. The strongest two words in the book are: 1-"Sumabitch," (one time)and, 2-"Hell," several times. I hope you enjoy it.

I could feel my heart die along with the man who rode me through hell cheering me on. But, i kept running home. I had to stay alive to protect my kin, my human brother who I loved more than myself. There was no way anyone, this war, or an individual was going to harm him.
