With the Ruler of the Slums title now dissolved and the Slums under the watchful eye of the Crown, Spec returns to the king in search of his next mission. He wishes to get through all of his missions and finish his contracted time and return to his family with rinsed hands, but the king and life throw curveballs that he isn't ready for. Now, he finds himself dealing with a force that threatens everyone he ever cared for.

Mero, the Grand Advisor to the Holy Dragon King, is released into the wild to mingle with the "ground races" while a war rages on the Domain - a land that floats high above the sea and ground, masked by the clouds and other elements. While usually separated and without any contact between dragon kind and the ground races, Mero and two of his allies step foot on the ground in search of a way to save the Domain, though this path is not one to be taken lightly as a force prepares itself to interfere with Mero's plan.

“Dead people… Run… They don’t die… Help!” The man on top of Lutz stopped trying to bind his arms, looking up as the shouting and gunfire neared him. He glanced at Lutz, spitting on him before standing up. He grabbed Lutz by the arms, holding them with one hand.

All females? Witches! He thought. “I’ll check it out.” He told her before running to his room in search of his weapon. As there wasn’t any real danger within the barrier, there was a rule that didn’t allow weapons to be used or taken outside their homes. This rule was especially important when the topic of domestic abuse was thrown into the air. The one that struck first would be booted out of the barrier before being sent to court along with their significant other. Fortunately, there hadn’t been many cases in Hornsville.

Silos jumped right to the point. “Is there any way to neutralize Hillain’s teleportation skill? Does the spear do anything to it?”

“Yeah, what’s wrong with your Destiny Slip? Don’t tell me-” Ark started, a shocked expression overtaking his face. He had realized what happened. Echo’s Destiny Slip foretold of a gloomy destiny.

“A task? Am I to become a hero?” He shouted, his eyes sparkling.

“Sure, follow me, I’ll take you to Tanri. It’s not that far from here.” He then beckoned them to follow him. They, at first, hesitated to follow Nick but decided to go along with him once the realization that they had nowhere else to go sank in. They were in a new world with nobody that they knew. No teachers or police officers in sight. No adults that they knew.

“Damn!” Mido shouted, shattering a window with his fist. “Damn… how did he survive?” He thought out loud.
