Kari Voucher is loving it at her new job working for the Illinois Northern Railroad alongside her two favorite wolves that made it all possible for her. But while she takes well needed pride and joy up in her current gig, there are unfortunately others who don't and will stop at nothing to sabotage the railroad infrastructure board by board, from the bottom up which they do so to one of the most valued trains bringing oil from the refineries to destinations all over the upper Midwest and beyond. With the help of her engineer and trusted friend, Trisha Watson along with an unexpected guest, the group will stop at nothing to find the culprits of this disaster and bring their sadistic actions to a halt before more company property and resources/assets are soon destroyed.

Following a terrorist bombing at a crowded sports arena, a young woman is trapped in the rubble, dying and alone. Someone sees her, stops and stays with her until the end...
When Reese finds his crush Sarah in the bathroom crying, what she tells him shocks him. He finds out that she was raped, and now must help her. As time goes on, he falls deeply in love with her to the point of obsession.
An interracial affair, brooding jealousies, and unrequited love collide in moments of madness, as a secret is threatening to be exposed. A father dies and passes on to his son his legacy. But with old memories come old rivalries. For Smoot Mathews, the funeral director, rivalry will go too far. His nemesis Razor swears vengeance for his ratting on him for critically beating a storeowner. When Smoot’s girlfriend dies from an overdose and his new love is brutally raped and his brother wounded by gunshot, he kills their assailant. Detectives Sam and Murphy become on opposite sides of the law. They pay Smoot a visit. He runs for it. His options become to either surrender or drown in treacherous waters. He jumps just as Murphy shoots at him. “Got ’im,” Murphy declares, as Smoot’s body jerks and twists and sinks below the forbidden dark waters.
On 21st September 2013, West gate Mall in Nairobi Kenya was under Terrorist Attack for four days. This act caught the security apparatus in the country by surprise. Unprepared and totally overwhelmed, many lives are lost and scores injured. But the Masterminds behind the Act prepared for years just to Accomplish this act and the participants unknown are the ghosts of Westgate.
Another cold and rain filled night in the lonely city. He hates nights like these but then he hates most nights, especially when murder lies waiting in a dark alley. My second entry for the Flash Fiction contest - (October-December 2012) - 355 words
