Jazzmine (Jazzi) Stone is destined for greatness. From the moment she was born, in fact, she was destined to save her kingdom; but for her to stay true to her dastiny, her parents must put her somewhere where no one would ever suspect. A parallel universe to their own - Earth.
This is a sample of writing from a character in a short story that I've written. It is also yet another attempt on my part to write Haiku. It is a work in progress. Feel free to comment.

An outcast, Aya a.k.a. Ice has to get through normal day to day life.
However while there is comfort in solitude,
Will she ever find anyone who is willing to accept her for herself?
This is the excerise the idea came from. I took it out of the book. However I know the some of us love writing, but have trouble coming up with ideas. So I put it here in the blurb, so it won't detract from the story.

Preamble: A third person narrator who is unpretentious storyteller allowing the story to unfold itself. A tone that is light and conversational and fills the scene with mood. Describing three scenes from the place to interaction of a group of people than the main character.
Lilliah: The cold princess with a surprisingly warm heart.
Zero: The flaming prince with a heart as cold as stone.
Two kingdoms fighting in a never ending war, yet unable to live without the other...Forcefully tied together to cease the blood flow. But for how long?
Warlock: Bobby
Power: touch turns stuff to ice, can make any shape or object out of ice
Transportation: surfs on ice
Gear: metarock suit, belt freezers, outer suit made of solid ice, blue mask covers an inch around the eyes
Prometheus: Tim
Power: can create fire, can manipulate fire, and can control explosions
Transportation: can fly
Gear: metarock suit, armor turns into bombs; small red mask covers an inch around the eyes
Zeus: Nolan
Power: creates lightning, can manipulate lightning and electricity
Transportation: can fly
Gear: metarock suit, tazer wrist gauntlets, tesla coil built into the chest of suit to stop bullets, yellow mask that covers an inch around the eyes
Chronis: Big Nick
Power: can slow time, telekinesis, and telepath
Transportation: uses telekinesis to fly
Gear: staff that helps focus time power, metarock suit, gloves that amplify power, White mask that covers an inch around the eyes
Guardian: Naoki
Power: teleportation, super agile, turns his body to a special metal that can’t be broken, shoots lasers from his hands
Transportation: uses his teleportation to climb in elevation then has pieces of fabric on his suit that works like a glider
Gear: metarock suit, gloves that makes the lasers accurate, gold mask that covers an inch around the eyes
Ares: Little Nick
Power: super strength, super speed, indestructible
Transportation: super speed
Gear: Indestructible war helm, two unbreakable katanas’, metarock suit, grey mask that covers an inch around the eyes
The bounty hunters and Will are released from jail on the count of good behavior. Will actually wants to be a pirate.... No Way! Zelda and Olivia work together (without fighting) to stop Magma and the bounty hunters. The police help out to stop the bounty hunters and the evil fire princess. Can they stop the bounty hunters and Magma? Is Will serious about becoming a pirate?
There are two kinds of space pirates-half good & half evil, and devilishly evil. Zelda, who is half & half, goes to the Planet Pluto. While Olivia, who devilishly evil, goes to the Planet Blaze. At the same time, they each talk to the princess of each planet. They get the princesses to let them go by persuading them that they could capture the other one, but they don't say anything about the other one without mentioning the others name. When Magma, who's the princess of Blaze, finds out she is not happy. She has Leo, the head bounty hunter, go warn Olivia that if she captures Zelda then Magma will kill her herself. Olivia ignores the warning. Who will win? Olivia or Zelda?
This is a collection of Winter Poems that were written from 1972 to 2007. They are a reflection of my personal, family, spiritual, political and environmental beliefs.
"What does a name matter anymore? Everything I had was taken from me. Everybody is gone, dead. Even death couldn't end my suffering. The only thing I have left is this draw, a need to find the sea, and whatever lies within its waters."
"What will it take to get there?" Briccio asked fighting the strange tired feeling in his head.
"The masters themselves will not keep me from where I am headed. I will leave the bodies of anyone who stands in my way behind me."
Life and Death fight endlessly, tirelessly, for control over each and every person. A lonely man loses everything but gains an ally in death, setting into motion a chain of events that will forever change two worlds and the destiny of every form of life; from the tiny insects of the earth to the ageless dragons that soar the skies.
