I looked at his face a bit more closely. Only then did I realized how evil his smile was and how cold his soulless eyes were. There was nothing comforting about him. he was darker than the place I was at. Strange place. Yet it was extremely familiar. A place that only haunted my nightmares. A place that had become reality. A place that I was now trapped in. I knew where I was, and I knew who stood in front of me.
The man took a step closer to me and crossed his arms.
Smiling, he said,"Lets play a game."
This is a very short story of a flower that i took interest upon knowing from the roots to the beauty of the finished product. The inspirer also known as THE ROSE was derived from a very beautiful person i encounted

I suffered because I cared too much for him.
I got hurt because I protected him.
I ignored my feelings because I wanted him to be happy.
In the end I got blamed for being egoistic because it became too much. But still I love him even if he hates me.

The story is all about a family that was separated by an ongoing war and was re-united in hearts by one precious thing... Family.
A mutation, called 'The Shade,' destroyed civilization and daily threatens what is left of the human race. Ten years later Addison discovers what she desperately hopes is a reversal to the mutation. Will this be the cure that returns the world to normal or will it rip apart this makeshift family of survivors.
