No power is greater than the one you’re willing to sacrifice.
Princess Violetta Flame lives her life according to rule, but those rules require her to pay a heavy price. Haunted by a devastating loss, she longs for freedom. When a handsome ruler takes a special interest in her, she senses greater things lie ahead, but behind the handsome façade lies a dark secret – one that can usurp her efforts and cast her back into the life she detested.
The throne was never promised to Emperor Ryore Frost, but now that he has ultimate power, his world is filled with possibilities. Citizens bow at his feet, but their fleeting adoration is no match for his obsession with the young Flame Princess. As his feelings for the staunchly independent princess grow, a new threat emerges, bent on undermining his efforts and betraying his sensibilities.
When past tragedies, malevolent behaviour, and strong wills collide, which will reign supreme?
Dragon coven's high priestess, Feronia Dragonblood, must make a decision between true love and a loveless bonding that will prevent war. When Feronia comes to an agreement with the fairy royals, Devraj, Dynasty, and Aldric, will she be able to follow through on her end when the time comes? This is the short story version of a novella that I am going to get published. Please note that the short story version was drastically altered to fit the perimeters that my professor set. Give me your feedback once you've read it. I love constructive criticism.
Ordinary. That's what I was: ordinary.
You can ask anyone. I live in a tiny town on the edge of Nowhere. I own a coffee shop. I live by myself. I watch murder mysteries and I enjoy nice glass of white wine with a good book. Ordinary.
Until I met him. My life was normal, and now... Now, I don't know what it is, but it certainly isn't ordinary any more. You know, I thought magic was only for the movies and the stories we grew up with. Stories for children, told to teach lessons or explain the unexplainable. No. They're told because they're true. Still, you'd think someone would have mentioned fairy wings before now...
Orphan Kali has long gotten over her missing parents. She is majoring in computer science, has a membership at Jamba Juice, and an organized mess of a dorm room. She even runs the 'Love your Planet' club on campus.
Its finals week and Kali is ready for her first year of college to be over, but when she is attacked by an assassin, well, would you want to be left alone?
Kali didn't know that she was a direct descendant of the Fae king and queen. But she certainly was not aware that she stood as the only heir to the throne. Or that she could fall in love with someone, something that wasn't even human. She is thrown into a world that she once thought could only come from a fairy tale. Kali needs to run, but she doesn't know it yet.
Assassins, sorceresses, trolls, and potions. Life and death and everything in between.
The current witch clan matriarch, Melanie, takes on the task of teaching outsiders the benefits of practical witchery. She must also work a diplomatic solution that will soften her father's feelings over a long past clan faction split when their current matriarch, Leona Mae, comes for a visit on Halloween. This story gives a great inside peek at witch culture at its most practical.
