A friend of mine once wrote of her struggles of her life with her step-mother. This got me thinking and eventually led to me writing about the emotional and physical pain that my own mother brought to me. (These are true stories by the way.)
As a new born, Solan was wisked away from your Home realm. Pierce her best friend, is actually her protector, seeing as she is the Next royal highness. They're a new type of beign, best described as vampires, so they own it. Pierce and Solan run away together to live on the home realm. She meets Alexia and Miller, a young married couple who become their colsest friends. As Solan is reading up on her familys history in secret, she meets a boy named Tanner who introduces her to Spirit vampires. Spirit vampires are a type of being how can use the elements, and spirit. They can rather survive off of blood, of someones soul. Tanner becomes her teach in the art of killling rouges-vampires who have commited crimes and have been spelled to be ill of mind. Will twists and turns at every courner and the disapearance of Pierce and her friends, Solan is now left with children to care for and a what the eff is going on attitude.
Kaaya is a sixteen-year-old girl, who gets caught trying to look over the obsidian wall, that has fascinated her since she was a little girl. Then she gets a chance to fight alongside the Black City's infamous freedom-fighters.
And so I come to the last soldier to find their way to me: Tori. She battles with two halves of herself, especially when it comes to the last night of her life, when she realises that her aunt and uncle have kept secrets all these years, when she finds that she can...do things...
People she knew start to die, connecting these to her flippant comments Tori realises she has the potential to take back all that Boundary have taken from her.
Yet, when she finds herself at the mercy of men from Boundary, she finds a renewed strength that awakens something within her.
One corpse can lead to another...
