Albatross has spent his whole life in and out of foster homes, tossed from family to family, after being abandoned by his druggy parents. When a new family comes to foster him he figures it will be just like all the other times, and prepares himself for a short stay, but is pleasantly surprised to find that this family is different, and discovers a great friend in his new foster-brother Nikko. Through Nikko, Albatross meets and makes new friends, including a small but loud girl named Bobby who quickly finds her way into his heart. But just as their relationship is taking off, tragedy strikes, and Albatross is left worse off than he was before...

A book of poems. Some about love, some about war. Some are just there. Some will bring pain. Others bring joy. You might cry, if it touches your soul. You might laugh, with joy or happiness.

Those that are Italicized,a re the ones I believe to be very special to me. Please enjoy. (More will be added later on, when I have time.)

Emily is just a normal year 10 girl soon going to year ten.Emily's life is somewhat perfect, its just not that Emily is a loner or anything it's that Emily has a crush on someone younger than her for almost four years now.It all started during primary school when Emily wasn't that popular and was being a little bullied.

A place where you have to marry at 16 ½. A young age yes, but they need to grow the population because of the bombing that happened. The explosion that killed 5 bilion and changing the nation.

"We are not defined by how much we do; we are defined by the love in our hearts."

Wouldn't it be great if you could find out how to live a better life just by taking a message out of a bottle? Now, that's everyone's dream of a quick and easy way to self-edit for an awesome life! Just latch onto the short, sweet, pithy, big punch ideas to guide a sometimes windy path. Author Susan Spira has put that awesome life in a nutshell of over 400 One-Liners for Life. Easy to read, earthy reminders, sound bites to swallow; sparks of inspiration; and gems so simple, yet complex to the nature of a well-lived life.
One-liners not exactly the Henny Youngman, "Take my wife...please." variety, but still one line bits of wisdom without a set-up and all punch!

"The voice of reason is often wrong. The sign of being a grown-up is when you are no longer tempted to find a new you because you are in love with the old you. Have a think big approach to your life; never underestimate your abilities. Unless electrified, ignore boundaries. Magic wands don't always show up when you need them. Life is not risk-free. Sometimes life's disruptions are someone else's pathology; you were simply in the path of the "ology"." - Susan Spira

"Celebrate your life's accomplishments, one goose bump at a time."
