I wrote this poem for my sister, Linda. I was able to share it with her before she passed away, from lung cancer, back in June of 2004. I still love and miss her so much. She will always live on in my fondest memories.

There's barely anything, I just wanted to actually somewhat make a commitment to writing it, unlike the other books I began, stashed in a drawer somewhere, doomed to never again see the light of day.

When seventeen-year-old Adrian Holt moves to Razewood, Oregon, from LA, he expects to find a bumpkin-esque town. The place didn’t even have a Roger Stuart! And while he finds that Razewood is just like he imagined, he also found something he wasn’t betting on: the possibility of love.

Evan Clarington III has it all: he’s rich, he’s smart, he’s good-looking, and he has the most popular girlfriend in school. If the eighteen-year-old feels a little empty sometimes, then, well, don’t we all? Overall, he’s content, if not satisfied, with his life…until Adrian Holt comes into it, making him feel things he knows he shouldn’t. Can these two find a happy-ever-after, or will they be doomed from the start?
