As they get to know David and deal with two pregnancies, Reese encounters another rival in the form of Jamie Williams, Sarah's favorite author, who goes on an all-expenses-paid date with her. Jamie, however, has secrets of his own, and so does Satira, Reese's long-lost grandmother who Marina cut off contact with. And then there's Kole-a beautiful new vampire fledgling whose creator has abandoned her. She finds Reese attractive, and a rivalry forms between her and Sarah. Scarlett also reappears, seeming to follow Reese around and try to make him like her. With all these new friends and enemies, who can Reese trust?

All the research and footwork has finally paid off. Daniel Smith and Peter McCabe are getting close to finding the Patron Elf of the Holy Seven—as they need her help to find an end to Eve McAllister’s vimp curse. Both are in England, Peter going back and forth between London and Oxford in his research while Daniel is in Stratford-Upon-Avon making negotiations with another elf friend. The problem is that a local coven of witches may have set their sights on her, and are meddling in the Elf's affairs. And this particular elf is not one any person should mess with... for some elves were worshipped as gods in ancient days, and this one may have been the Eye of Ra with the powerful destrutive gift of blazing hot fire.
The supernatural has always been a part of my life, regardless if I wanted it to be or not. I had convinced myself so much of it was the overactive imagination of a kid who spent too much time in his head in order to cope with all the shit life threw at him. The memory is a fickle thing, a picture book drawn by a bad artist, an unreliable narrator picking away at the important bits while slamming square pegs in round holes to try and make them fit a narrative. It is also something of a benevolent protector, shielding us from what lies just beyond the veil that divides our fragile concepts of reality and the sledgehammer that is the truth. These last few months really showed me that. So, where do I begin talking about the events that became the hammer to the glass that was my hated reality?
It is in this time that they all went against each other, who is going to take to rule the world. A war has started, it's no longer small battles, and humans are nothing but collateral damage for the sake of the bigger picture. Some leading authorities have formed an alliance in Hell and they rebelled even on Lucifer himself.
