This is just one version of this story that I've started. I am slowly working on this piece and am thinking about putting a price on this book when I'm finished. However, in order to finish this, I would like some feedback concerning whether or not you like what I have so far, what might need to be changed, and whether or not you be willing to pay in order to read the finished copy of the book. For now though this is just the demo version of the story.
A secret meeting. A secret mission. Lies a mile long. A life of shadows and cover ups. It's a life that Nicole has no idea she's a part of until she is forced into the middle of it. With a million questions swirling around her mind, she is confused, disoriented, and unsure of what is really going on. Can she escape the lies and coverups, or will she drown in her reality?

Powerful creatures have long been rumored to roam the Earth-- demons, wraiths, the undead, vampires. What if they are not just the stuff of legend? What if there is a scientific basis for their existence?
There's a secret lab in the basement of the prestigious Buchanan Medical Center, where the newly declared dead become subjects in pathologist Gunter Mueller's research in cutting-edge resuscitation medicine. None of his subjects have survived--until now.
Not only is he alive, Nick Chandler has undergone a chilling metamorphosis into a man of supernatural prescience, superhuman strength, and absolutely no remorse--as Chip Allison and his friend Kristin Duffy quickly discover. Chip is on duty as monitor watcher in the ICU when Chandler is wheeled in; mere minutes later, Chandler has fled into the night, leaving behind a violently murdered nurse, the first of many victims. Besides being an avid dog lover, Kristin has an interesting hobby: she takes Kirlian photographs--images of the auras all living creatures give off. When she applies the technique to a photo of Chandler inadvertently captured on the night of his escape, Chandler has no aura. And somehow, Chandler knows she has that damning photograph...
Still suffering flashbacks after being attacked by his former boss wielding a bone saw three years ago, anesthesiologist Doug Landry is teaching residents at the Buchanan Med Center during a six-month sabbatical when his wife Laura is seriously injured in a biking accident. When things go terribly wrong on the operating table, Laura is delivered to Dr. Mueller for resuscitation...
Sherry Carson was running a little late. Instead of going to the gym, she opted for a short run this morning. She should have gone to the gym.
"You will do exactly as I saw when I say it. Is that understood Ms.Black?" "Why?" "Why what?"
"Why do I have to follow what you say?" "Because if you don't, you'll most likely die. So I'll ask again. Do you understand?" "Yes Ma'am"
April Black is a somewhat normal teenager. Goth and Emo friends, since she was one herself, oppressing parents that she moved away from, sneaking out and having fun. Normal stuff right? Well, that was until people found her. An organization that moved people from one life into another, to do spy work. Why her? Well... that's classified.

Dr. Linda Kipling has had her share of excitement working as a meteorologist with the Naval Research Laboratory. Twice in four years, she and her boss, the arrogant Dr. Victor Silverstein, have faced international crises requiring heroic action. Now, in 2011, Kipling faces her most formidable foe yet: her only remaining relatives, the Müller family. Debates about climate change continue as two researchers in Greenland mysteriously disappear. Kipling soon comes to a horrific realization: not all observed climatic aberrations are coming from natural variation or an increase in greenhouse gases.
