I sat at the foster home table and poked at the pea and carrot soup with my spoon."May I be excused?"I asked Madam Foster."No."she said sternly not taking her eyes off her soup that she was scarfing down.I looked at the chunky woman who has been my foster "mom" for about three years after my fathers arrest...and my mothers disappearance. My father was blamed for my mothers' disappearance and supposedly her "murder" if she WAS even murdered."Eat your corn Sandy!"Madam Foster snapped."It's SAIDY and I don't LIKE corn."I demanded."Fine get even skinnier and DIE!"she said as spots of her soup flew out of her mouth.Ewwww.I weighed ninety eight pounds when I lived with my family, but once I was moved into this psychotic house of doom with the other boys and girls I dropped down to a whopping twenty pounds."Eat Mary!"she yelled at my little sister."I'm trying!"my fourteen pound, four year old sister whined."PLEASE don't yell at her!"It started out as a demand and ended in a plead. My sister continued eating her cream of corn."It good!YUM!!!"my sister said licking her lips which were covered in wheat of corn, cornbread, and corn cookies. She LOVES corn."Mrs.Foster,may I have another corn cookie?"Mary asked."MS.FOSTER!and besides it's MADAM.Foster!not "MRS.Foster!!and NO!!save some for the other children you little piggy!"she yelled."Here sis."I said throwing daggers at Madam Foster and handing Mary a corn cookie as I dragged her by her wrists to our foster room."I like these cookies."my sister mumbled."Good cause that might be your last one."I said packing our suit cases."What do you mean?"she asked. But with the cookie in her mouth it sounded like:"Ruff do ya men?"We're leaving TONIGHT!"I said"Oh."she said.At night fall I woke up Mary and we snuck out the door with our luggage. We knew the creaks and moans of the floor and dodged them with care."I'm hungry!"Mary cried tears running down her face."Shhhh I'll get you some donuts from the counter when we pass it."I promised. She wiped away the salty tears and licked her snot away."Ew ew ew EW!!!!"I griped smacking her hands away."Sorry!"she said crying again."Gross.....I'm sorry."I said picking her up.When we passed the counter I grabbed her three donuts as promised."Here."I whispered."Thank you!"she whispered back.We heard footsteps on the stairs and then seen Madam Foster!"YOU!!!!"she growled trampling over to me and Mary."Mary RUN!!!"I demanded. We ran to the other end of the hallway and Mary fell."Come ON!!!"I demanded stepping over her."My ankle hurts!!"she cried.I continued running before I heard her shriek.I turned around and she had Mary over her shoulder."I'm sorry Mary."I whispered.I turned around and ran to the second pair of stairs.I went down the connected stairs and seen Marys' body was gone and blood surrounded where her body had been."Oh no!"I panicked.I heard steps creaking and ran to my bedroom.I looked at mine and Mary's' bags.I chunked them to the ground and ran to the window.I heaved on it trying to slide it up.Finally it clicked open and I climbed through not closing it."A plan a plan a plan a plan!"I panicked sliding down the roof.I landed on my back and got up running to the back door.I pulled on the handle but it was locked."UGH!!!"I groaned. Finally I drew back my wrist and got ready to punch the glass, when Mary climbed out of the bush by the door."Mary!!!"I hugged my sister and continued my work.I punched the glass and it either shattered sticking in my knuckles' or leaving blood on my face and hands.I picked up Mary and slowly walked over the glass."Here ya go."I groaned throwing her on my back.I ran to the stairs and took them by twos.At the top Mary climbed down and puked."Ew."I said dragging her down the hall. Not seven minutes away from where Mary puked I heard a THUD!We ran back and there on the ground was Madam Foster."Ew!"I groaned.Soon I was pushing her with my feet and she was rolling down the stairs to her death.A month after we were transferred to another foster home our mother showed up and took us to live with our grandma! She had seen us on the news and came to get us!"I love you mommy!"Mary cried."I love you momma!"I said."I love you two also!"she said kissing our cheeks.
