Cayden, Hunter, Chad, Josh, and I were walking down the street when we saw that church that got closed down for some unknown reason. “Hey Lexey, look at this!” Josh exclaimed as he pointed to the church. “Whoa, that looks scary!” I remarked. “Legend has it, all the people who went inside that church never came out again. Apparently, there’s an evil spirit by the name of ‘Jason Lurks’ haunts that place.” Cayden added.
“Let’s go home I’m tired.” Josh yawned. Everyone agreed and we all made our way home.
As we entered my house, we took off our jackets, and hung them on the coat rack. We were having a sleepover. I know, it sounds kiddish, but we still do it.
I was the only girl. My parents let me do anything. Because I’m 17 and the only child. And my parents want me to still have fun.
Before we went to sleep we sat around being bored then Josh thought of an idea to play truth or DARE. “Who wants to go first?” Josh asked. “Me.” Cayden said.
“Okay, I dare all of you to stay the night at that church that we saw earlier.” He dared.
“Today?” I asked. “No, tomorrow.”Cayden corrected.
After 24 hours, we all grabbed our sleeping bags and blankets and all that stuff. Then I drove them to the church.
I started to think twice about doing this. But I didn’t want all of my friends to think that I’m a wimp.
When my friends and I got there, I started freaking out even more, but I still wanted to do the dare. As we approached the front door, we spotted a white figure.
We also heard a voice saying, “If you value your life don’t go in there.” Cayden, Josh, Hunter, Chad laughed as hard as they could. But I did not think it was funny at all. But I still had the courage to spend the night there.
The floorboards creaked as we stepped on them, it sounded as if it was a hundred years old. There was blood on the floor, it wasn’t even dry, and it was like the blood has gotten on the floor recently. Cayden and Hunter laughed nervously.
Josh was looking around the room in awe. Hunter was exploring. Chad and I were watching Cayden carefully, like he could disappear any moment. He was known for freaking people out. Cayden leaned casually on the wall, and all of a sudden, the wall flipped around and he was gone.
“Whoa.” That was the last thing we heard from him before silence.font>
“Guys! It’s Cayden! He’s gone!” Chad exclaimed to Josh and Hunter. We all pushed on every space of the wall, in case there was a secret button or something to open up the wall. Chad’s hand grazed a spot on the wall and pushed it. Suddenly, Cayden body fell out, it was all bloody.
“Holy shit!” I shouted. My hand went up to my mouth, and covered it. The sight was horrible. Now everyone was freaking out.
After the body fell out, we tried to make run for it, but the door was locked and the windows were as solid as a rock.
Josh was so scared; he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. He rammed into the door as hard as he could. “OWWWW” Josh shrieked in pain. He was gripping his shoulder, hard. When he let go, everyone gasped. A bone was sticking out of his shoulder. My friends and I screamed as loud as we could. We were all freaking out. Hunter calmed me down, and after about 30 minutes all of us calmed down. “We’re going to get you out of here, and into a hospital.” I assured Josh.
15 minutes after we calmed down, we heard a noise in the back of the church. Hunter went to go check it out. Josh was losing a lot of blood and he kept moaning in pain. “I’ll go check it out.” Hunter volunteered reluctantly.
As Hunter was walking out from the back he reported, “There’s nothing.” He took a few more steps, and out of nowhere, a white figure whooshed out and yanked Hunter away. “Holy.. GUYS! HELP ME! HELP! Please!” he begged as he disappeared from our sight. We all stood there, frozen. Already, we have lost two of our friends. We needed to get out of here, now.
We were still frozen in shock. "Oh my god, what the hec just happened?" Josh whispered.
"Listen here, chickens! Two of our friends are gone and we haven't been doing anything but running away and being sitting ducks!"
"Well, what should we do about this?" Josh asked. "Well we should all stand up to the ghost and kill him once and for all!" I replied.
Then we all heard a sound coming from the back of the church. Then I stood up and said " this is our time to look for weapons and kill this ghost." Josh and Chad stood up and said "We're in!"
So we all headed to the back of the church. When we got to the back of the church we all were looking for the door to the back, all we saw was a wall. Then I realized something and said to Josh and Chad " remember we had to push a wall to find Cayden, well we might have to push this wall to go to the back?", I asked. Josh and Chad said "Ohhh Yeahh."
So I kicked the the wall, but it wouldn't budge. Then Josh helped me kick it open. It opened.
When we walked in it looked so disgusting, it looked like a hellhole. There were bodies in there. We saw tons and tons of weapons.
I picked up a sword and an ax, Chad picked up the only gun and a knife, Josh only picked up an ax. When we walked deeper in to the back of the church we all heard a noise. Josh said " it's just the wind."
After about 25 seconds we heard the same noise I was so scared. We all grabbed our weapons. We were walking slowly inside then we heard the same noise. We all were freaking out on the inside. So we all saw the same closet, then we all rushed in it.
When we were inside there were holy bibles that said " you're going to die tonight." I was freaking out on the inside alot.
I cracked the door open then I peeked out and I saw Jason starring into my eyes. I was sceaming and freaking out.
