"what a little skeeze" i sneered.

"I thought he ran away to New York, it mean it would make more sense! The big city, opportunities and rich

 people not Idaho"

"like what I said, he's a skeeze--" I took a few steps before we approached a vast forest of horrifying trees and

dark clouds. "Um..."

"why have I never seen this before?" Margot asked curiously

"don't ask me" i grumbled. "my dad owns the town and I've never came across this"

"we should go in!"

"Margot-"

"what's the worse that could happen?"

I took a deep breath and looked at her.

"fine. Lets go in"

we walked in and observed the place with wide eyes. "This is like a movie" she said. "I'm just waiting for some

type of killer to jump out of from behind a tree"

"shut up Margot"

"sorry"

a wave of wind blew from behind us and nearly lifted up my skirt. "ah!"

"I think I have like a sixth sense, where I can like sense spirits"

"sure"

"seriously! once my mom told me I would rather trust a woman's instinct than a man's reason. genius

if you ask me"

she froze and started into the distance

"what?"

"I can see something--there" she pointed right ahead of her

I looked where she was pointing.

"Margot I can't see anything"

"well I can"

we kept on walking and she didn't blink once.

"you ok?"

"yes. yes."

"look maybe we should-"

"AH!"

"WHAT?!"

"l-let's go"

"yeah"

11:27 pm

I sat sat at my desk, watching "sixteen candles"

as I heard a buzz from my phone. Margot was

calling me.

"you up?" she sounded scared and cautious

"no"

"ok don't kill me but I just went back into the

forest and there was a man there. I just ignored

him but he followed me home" she spoke at a

very fast pace and was breathing heavily

"WHAT THE FUCK. Are u ok?! Who do I

call?! Why'd u go back?! Should I call someone?!"

"no you don't need to call anyone, only if he gets inside.

hes outside,he's looking into the bathroom window down-

statirs. I'm in my bedroom with a knife."

"Are you home alone?"

"yeah"

"oh Jesus Christ Margot. WHYD U GO TO THE FOREST

ANYWAY?!"

"I dunno!"

"fuckin'hell"

"I can here footsteps..." she dropped the phone and stayed

silent.

"hello?"

"shush"

I stayed quiet as my legs started to shake along with my

hands. She picked up the phone again, "he's inside.

hes here. I gotta hang up." She hanged up and I

burried my face in my hands. My heart was beating

abnormally fast.
