Jessica always thought she was something special. A couple of months ago she turned sixteen and her grandma told her she was a vampire with a long term ability to shape shift in to any being she want to at anytime. There held one problem every time she would turn she would get more blood thirsty..

She went through to the kitchen to find her friend lent on the side with a loving look in her eyes, she had found out about this before Jess even got home, "so when you turning me" " what do you mean" " well you wont want to be friends with a human now you have all of these 'powers' " "there not powers they are gifts? She really wasn't all that sure herself what she had been given although Jess and her friend Katie were not the only two people who had recently found out about her newly found gifts she had been giving,they had been past though the years of family past and the were-wolfs had found out,keeta the pack leader had been listening to the talk that Jess and Katie were having in the kitchen of Katie's apartment. In total there are 10 were wolfs to count,Leyla the youngest wolf was expecting what they call a mixer or mixed breed, Layla is dating a vampire called Max, the vampire society were disgusted when they found out.. Dante,Leyla's brother had dis-owned her after finding out about the mixer. Sometimes Jess would get a weird feeling a feeling of worry and hate and that's when she begins to forget her life now and to start feeling more alive as if she was invincible. She often felt this a little bit but today it was more than ever. She sat down to let her self calm down but it didn't go away.She blanked out on the sofa at four in the afternoon and woke up in her bed five days later,she woke up to her gran and her friend sat next to her " oh god Jess what happened" her gran said in a state of worry.Jess had only ever blanked for a hour or two before it was getting worrying but her gran tried not to show Jess that it her to much. Jessica's mother had died when Jess was six and her dad had disappeared two years ago so her gran had been looking after her. Her grandad who she knew very little about had turn out to be the former owner of the Private investigating office in town she hadn't ever asked or told about anything of him or she never thought it was her place to ask about him even if he was family if no one had mentioned him before then there must have been a reason for it. she was always reading about P.I's in story books the favorite type of book was a good old fashioned mystery, that sort that you wouldn't find out the killer till the end of the story. you know sometimes you find these stories and they let you know the killer but the other characters don't know yet she always found them boring it never left you waiting. Same thing with boys she had on going things with some boys on off like a light switch but never really got over this one boy she went to school with six years ago they both went to different schools and Jess moved away to Scotland with her family and never really got over him. They tried long distance but it didn't really work for them just like the books you never know the killer until right to the end.


Jess felt fine after this she got up went down stairs and walked out of the door she felt as if there was something that she had to do but shes wasn't quite sure what it was she just knew that inside her something was shouting out to let what was locked away out to the day light out to something that was new,something that nobody had heard of before.Layla had become good friends with Katie much to Jessica's disgust, they had plans that they would go out for some lunch a week later and Layla had to cancel after something had happened with the mixer.

Later that day Jess decided she would take a walk after her soon to be controlled visions a day or two later she found out she had the ability to sense things like family and friends being hurt or getting into trouble that sort of thing yet sometimes when she is near someone any one just a random person she feels a lot closer to them and can feel what they are thinking and feeling. Jess's grandma told her that they are people who are her future she proceeded to tell Jess that her mother had the same thing and that is how she found her granddad but Jess wasn't to sure what to make of this she panicked and ran out of the room '' how could anyone sense people from there future as if things weren't bad enough just turning to a vampire i see my future to'' she became worried after all would this mean she would be a bite-er? she only ever had false blood she never wanted to kill or change anyone after all it was and is a horrible process to go threw..although this worried her she still had a small warm feeling in side her stomach the sort of butterfly feeling, was this her getting excited she was very interested in her future but still the past made her wonder..
