Cursed Doll! by Lauren Aimee (best books to read ever .txt) 📖

The doll sat there, its eyes staring, just staring in through the glass store window. It sat on the old dusty shelf, not saying a word, not making a move. It was considered a cute doll by the odd person who came in. However, the kids who mensioned its cutness, their parents grabbed them by the arm and dragged them out the store, not saying anything. The doll had been sat there for as long as the store keeper could remeber. Nobody actualy owned the doll long enogh to become an owner. They had died after the odd day of having the doll. No one knew why.
There was a reason, but not many people knew about it. The doll was cursed, most of the parent must've known, for they dragged their kids out of the store for even looking at the doll. Legend had it that the doll steals your soul. To awaken him, you must turn off all the lights, close the dorr but not lock and play the song 'Creepy Doll By Jonathon Coulton'.
A little girl used to own the doll, she passed away a couple of days after getting the doll. She never knew about the curse. She used to just listen to the song, and it was also a coincidence that she listened to it in the dark. Creepy, huh? Her story is even creepier. So get a pillow, and your 'blanckie' and stick arpund to her Mia's story.
Mia was a quiet girl, she never spoke unless she was spoken to. Even then she didn't say much. Many called her wiered, but she just brushed it off. Mia didn't care about what people thought of her. She had long flowing pink hair down to her hips, She wore a blue headband, on top of the headband sat a small blue bow. She had emerald green eyes which shined brightly in the sunlight. She was very pretty.
One day Mia went for a walk, down the street a new shop had been built. She didn't know what kind of shop now sat there, but she was curious to know. She walked quickly to get there fast. She really wanted to know. She arrived there a few minutes later and stood there. There was a huge sign above the store window saying 'Mr. Pattinsons Toy Store!'. Mia read the sign and had a look through the window. She saw a rather large doll in the window at the back shelf. The man called Mr. Pattinson grabbed the doll and was about to take it through to the back. Mia walked in and asked "Excuse me, sir?" She asked shyly. Mr. Pattinson turned around, he smiled. "Hello there sweetie. What can I do for you?" She held her hands together.
"Who's' that doll?" She asked him.
He looked at her, with an open mouth. "oh, this? It's no ones. Here you cvan have it if you want it." he said with a smile. Mia gasped quietly.
"really? You're just going to give this doll to me?" She asked him, unsure. He smiled at Mia.
"sure! why not, you'll get more use out of the doll then he will in the trash. Take him." Mr. Pattinson said smiling.
"Thank you sir" she said with a big grin.
Mia walked home later on after having a look around the toy shop. It was getting late and she should have been heading home. So she set off, not knowing what monster was going with her.
Mia arrived home at 8:00pm. Plenty of time for a bath and a small bit of time to relax. Mia had a bath and left the doll in her room while she went for a bath. There were no sharp things for the doll to get ahold of, but plenty of heavy and dangerous objects. Mia didn't know what she was getting herself into, leaving the doll alone in a dangeous place like her room.
After she got out of the bath, it was 8:35pm. She sat on the bed in her bright yellow PJs. She picked up the doll which looked at her with its large empty eyes. She gave it a big hug, turned of her light and played creepy doll on her Ipod until she fell asleep. What she didn't know was, that was the song which activated the dolls evil mark on its head. It was the shape of a teardrop you'd see in cartoons. It was usualy green, just like Mia's eyes were. Emerald green. After Mia fell asleep 2 minutes later, she didn't know that was the song, she never knew about the curse either. By the time she knew, it was too late.
She lay there quite still, sleeping, not dead...yet. She didn't realize the bright red light the doll's mark went. She woke up after the light got brighter and began to choke, she gagged and chocked, until she went blue. The doll grinned. She gasped, trying to get air and yell out for help, but it was too late. The doll stopped killing her and let her breathe for a second before trying to kill her again. He wanted to torture her, but not kill her after seconds, it'd ruin his fun.
She looked at him, mouth wide open. "YOU!" she yelled after catching her breath. The doll grinned again. The mark on his head light up brighter. He had mind powers too. All of a sudden Mia's hands went up to her throat, she had shap nails. She began to scratch her neck. She continued to scratch until she hit a nerve. She continued to gasp and try to breathe, but it wasn't going well. After striking the nerve, blood gashed everywhere. Although it hurt, she continued to scratch.
The following morning her parents found her lying on her bed with a blood gashed throat. There were tear marks down her cheeks where she was obviously in pain doing it. Nobody knew it was the doll, the mark went back to its normal colour, And Mia's parents put the doll back in Mr. Pattinsons toy shop.
So, the doll sat there on the shelf waiting for a kid to collect him. Someone to care for him, before he killed them that was. His eyes stared into darkness, and I believe he still sits there to this very day. Waiting, for some kid to get him, awaiting, to kill them and eat their soul!
